A bird named "Skyreport" just makes me think of this.
But he looks great, with a headsculpt that's pretty reminiscent of Archadis. I might still get Leafback eventually because dinosaurs are cool, but it's nice to have options for representing Grass Energy. I hope Ground Energy gets some more...
If you're just getting one main show-based Galvatron, get the SS86. Kingdom and Legacy are the same slightly-off (but possibly off enough) redder purple, and Kingdom has poorly-executed extra battle-damage scuffing (the Legacy one drops those but retains the purple). SS86 is in a better spot on...
That's exactly what they are, and I see them correctly called out as such in discussions I've been in. Of course, to reach beyond the echo chambers that those probably are, the media needs to broadly and consistently do this instead of all the sanewashing.
I'm just glad to see how they've really ramped up MOTU stuff. A decade plus on from a dead reboot that led to the only real remakes being in a subscription service that was both costly and inconsistent (I gather from stories told), the last couple of years have seen shelves fascinatingly full of...
I think the intervening time suggests why. Hasbro tried it, tried it again, tried it a different way, found many ways not to do it. Or registered that the universe just didn't want it to happen. Transformers paved the way for a landscape that would be littered with Battleship and Snake Eyes andl...
Hope we get more that could match them. I also wonder if Abyss Rain and Frost Saber are getting solo releases like Longlight and Captain Volca (also released as pack-ins) did.
I'd be very surprised if they didn't try.
It still seems weird for this of all releases not to have that angle. It being the all-new mold would be another selling point that might offset that.
Anyway, maybe they'll do an exclusive accessory pack with the crown and cape, as well as...
He may be compatible with Jetfire and the DOTM trailer.
That is, a new Commander class Jetfire and a new trailer they'll pack in with the DOTM-abs retool of this mold to also bump it up to Commander.
Googling also turns up (i think?) Ignash's RoGunners, which has a Slizardo (think it's just a green version of one of the RoGunners Targetmaster style molds) for Botcon Devcon.
Kind of surprised that movie-anniversary Starscream isn't a Leader with the coronation stuff included. It's the anniversary line for the media where that design debuted. Or does the new mold need newly- or retooled coronation stuff?
Insecticon 3-pack... if it's just show-model colors, only...
I think the differences are not so much down to different teams (although there are definitely differing sensibilities; Archer is a decade older than the brand and the current team grew up on it) as they are from where the brand is/was for each team. I don't think Steevy necessarily meant any...
Luckily he flinched at the last second so the debt collectors didn't quite get his kneecaps.
If it turns out these were just, like, mold vent/whatever holes in the dumbest position possible, I'm going to be very annoyed.
I'd love the original two-line vents over these absurd gouges. Third...
The Bay films are honestly a fun trove of bits and bobs of story concepts and scenes and moments. Great for mining to write up on your own, which will invariably result in a better output than the Bay writers' We Don't Care, Random Bullshit Go approach of writing a theme park ride disguised as a...
