Transformers: Cyberworld, WTF (Why The Faces)

Yeah, that seems to be it. There was a specific shot of swiveling the rear-view mirror around to catch Grimlock in the frame. But from that linked thing there are two Bee shots, so idk. Is the non-Yamcha one a "Family Guy collapse pose" (one limb behind) reference?

They had to cost out the wisdom of the ages. But Takara's will have additional paint, including a tampo of "wisdom" in cybertronix.

Fill it with Cullen voice clips (and at least one Judd Nelson, "now... light our darkest hour"), and appropriately-cut clips from "The Touch", and whatever LED shenanigans are needed to reproduce that glittery effect, and sold.

Thread of Thoughts, Questions (and Maybe Even Answers) That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread

Yeah, what a hell of a resume. That was a very interesting time and so many of these were eye-catching and/or memorable decos. I've always loved the life that offscreen/subline imprint redecos and retools would give a toyline and miss those a lot. And some of the "side" lines were the best parts...

That helps reinforce the impression then, and that was just a fun clip in general. Thanks!

Transformers: Cyberworld, WTF (Why The Faces)

That description of Chalk applies to this take too, to my ear (as my initial impression). Both sound like just a person talking that happens to have a deep voice that's reminiscent of Cullen. Although I see (hear) what you mean, and Kaczmarczyk does sound like he's more directly trying to evoke...

Transformers: Cyberworld, WTF (Why The Faces)

I always felt like Kaplan was pretty much a Cullen impression, just a bit more of a flexible one than later ones turned out to be. Had that very forced feel to the voice control. This felt more like Gary Chalk, where the person just talks and emotes and the voice just happens to also be deep...

Transformers: Wild King -- new "Wildocking" animal limb combiner series from TakaraTomy

Ah, that sounds promising, thanks. Hope some more interesting Ground Energy ones come along too, the current ones don't really grab me.

Are there any upcoming limbs that are Grass Energy beasts, or is it just Leafback?

Transformers: Cyberworld, WTF (Why The Faces)

That was actually pretty enjoyable. Really digging the voice acting so far. It's nice to have an Optimus that gets to be a bit more than the best Cullen impression they could do that day. Also, vaguely-Zangief-y Grimlock is fun and a little bit of "how have we not had that before".

    Blokees

Yeah, Grimlock AND Hot Rod are in both Defender series 3 and this listing for Defender series 4. And altmodes are labeled as such. But you're right that chases aren't labeled, so maybe this will be a clear or metallic Hot Rod. Or maybe this is a mislabeled Rodimus, who's getting both robot and...

40th Anniversary Haslab: RID2001 Omega Prime

I'm tickled by the thought of them bothering to print off entirely new packaging. Mainly the idea of the box art being tweaked so that Fire Convoy is holding a little sign that says "sorry about that uwu".
