Hasbro has released a new music video in tribute to the Iconic character of G1 Optimus Prime and legendary voice actor Peter Cullen! You can check out the music video here, and check out the press release below! Released as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations for The Transformers: The Movie, “Optimus Prime Forever” celebrates one of the franchise’s most iconic and beloved characters. Inspired by the defining events, emotion and unmistakable musical identity of the 1986 film, the track reflects the strength, compassion and courage that have made Optimus Prime so meaningful to generations of fans. These qualities were shaped in no small part by Peter Cullen, whose performance gave Optimus Prime his humanity, warmth and moral conviction. The song was created before Peter’s passing; but offers an opportunity to thoughtfully recognize his extraordinary contribution as part of a wider celebration of Optimus Prime, the film and the fans who have sustained its impact for four decades.
Another episode of Transformers: Cyberworld? Already? But we just had one last week! Okay, sure. Let's do this thing. The sixth episode of this season is called "Clash of the Mighty 'Uns" (or "Halloween STORM at Sea: Grimlock VS Soundwave!", as YouTube calls it), and is described there thus: Well, Halloween is my favorite holiday, so I'm down for something strange in our neighborhood. Here is the episode for your viewing pleasure: And my recap/review. Beware of spoilers! (Hence the tag.) So, what did you think? Catch anything I didn't? Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "Transformers CyberWorld: Spoopy Ocean Times" thread in our forums! Okay, please bear with me: I've been sick for over a week now, and I'm still going to try to do this thing anyway. This week's episode, "Sound Off" (or "RHYTHM BATTLE: Soundwave VS Jazz!" on YouTube), is the fifth episode of the second "Energon Surge"-themed season of Transformers: Cyberworld. Per the YouTube description: And for your viewing enjoyment: And my spoilery recap and review of the episode: But what did you think? Catch anything I didn't? Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "Transformers CyberWorld: Energon Brouhaha" thread in our forums! Another two weeks, another Transformers: Cyberworld. And yay, this one stars Bumblebee. Just what we all wanted, right? Well, actually... this wasn't as bad as I feared going in. We'll come back to that in a minute, though. First, if you haven't seen it already, then feel free to partake first in "Plan Bee": Per the official description: Now, as to my thoughts on the episode... But what did you think? Catch anything I didn't? Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "Transformers CyberWorld: Energon Brouhaha" thread in our forums! Happy Transformers Day, everyone! Well, actually, it's 12:20 as I finally sit down to write this, so the day is over. But I still hope it was happy for you! Me? As you might have guessed, the bulk of my day was spent going to and seeing the 40th Anniversary edition of The Transformers: The Movie. But before we get into that, here's a little about the day that was. For starters, I don't know about anyone else, but showings of this movie are not exactly what I would call... "common", here in Toronto. My wife booked the tickets at Cineplex. It wasn't showing at our usual theatre, and we thought we had gotten tickets at the one across the street, but it turned out that we actually had tickets for a similarly-named venue an hour away in Scarborough. Whoops. Thank goodness for the LRT. A cloudy day. Strangely suiting for what we're about to experience. We got there just in time; I grabbed our seats while my wife grabbed our refreshments. Place was full, too. Not sure if it was packed, but I didn't see many free seats. Overall, the movie was just as you know it. Well, at least if you watched the North American version. Maybe. That is to say, this is the "basic" version: no Star Wars crawl at the start talking over the most slapping version of the Transformers theme to ever exist (thank you, Lion), no "please come back, we're bringing Optimus back! Honest!" addition at the end. I thought I saw something saying this release was in 4K, but if it was, I didn't notice. Or is that a special IMAX sort of deal? I'm not exactly a moviephile, I don't know. If it was 4K, I didn't notice the difference. And if it was, maybe the money spent doing that would have been put to better use doing some color corrections, like when there are two Frenzys going after Blaster's tower, or Starscream's recurring all-yellow nosecone. Speaking of Starscream, I think he was the MVP of the showing I was at, drawing the most laughter for his lines, mishaps, and getting dunked on/dunking on Megatron. There was one odd bit when we first go to see Daniel and Hot Rod fishing, in that the scene seemed rather blurry. It was back to normal pretty quickly, but I don't know if that was just our theatre, our showing, or something everyone will be experiencing (sound off if you saw Hot Blurr in the comments below!). I can say one fear of mine was quickly allayed, as you might have guessed above: The soundtrack was intact. Now, if you don't follow the forums (Shameful! But it's never too late to change!), let me fill you in. With all this "Apology Tour" stuff, including "The Reformatted Edition" of the soundtrack by "The Knights of Unicron" throughout the first half of the year, a thought occurred to me: What if they were planning to replace the original score with something more "modern" sounding that might also mean they wouldn't have to pay the same royalties to the original artists? Thankfully, that was not the case at all. (Look, it's 2026, and there isn't a lot that companies won't do to save a buck at the expense of people these days. I don't think my fears were entirely unjustified.) Everything was just as we remember it, and that's definitely good. A large part of experiencing this movie is the music, after all. That said, I did find the sound mixing seemed to have the music a little lower than I'm used to. Maybe it was just the theatre setup? Speaking of which, I feel I should add that this is my first time seeing this movie in a normal movie theatre (they were fine with everything from Sesame Street to Masters of the Universe to all three Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies, Super Mario Bros., and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, but for some reason, this was where my parents drew the line. You know, the one that actually mattered in the context of the TV show I was into at the time. Go figure). I've seen it in my home and others' countless times. I saw it in a vintage theatre accompanied by a performance by The Cybertronic Spree. Heck, I've even seen it on the big jumbotron screen at the Skydome following a Blue Jays win on their Transformers Day. But this is the first time I've seen it "as intended," more or less. Okay, that's enough beating around the Stan Bush. Let's get to what you're probably really interested in: Optimus Prime: Awakening. Strange thing: There were people actually getting up and leaving during the credits. The lights even came up. I... get the feeling that maybe this short wasn't promoted as well as it could have been. Spoilers follow, so don't click if you don't want 'em. Sheesh, had more to say than I realized. But then again, look at what I get out of five minute shorts, what else did I expect from 12? As for the rest of the experience, we saw some fans there having a good time, including some fanciful dress and cosplay: I hope I remembered to compliment his hat... And of course, we had to get our picture taken with the movie poster: Oh, and for those wondering: There was no merch to be had. None. I was apparently not the only one to ask, either, but they didn't get anything in for this. All in all, a great time was had! If you've never seen The Transformers: The Movie before, this is the way to do it while you still can! And if you have? Well, it's still a great way to see it! I mean, you've got better things to do tonight than die, right? But what did you think? Did you check it out? Is it not showing in your area? Did you get into one of those fancy 4D showings that throttles your chair and blows air in your face? Feel free to talk about it here (but be sure to mark spoilers for Optimus Prime: Awakening!), or over in the "Transformers the Movie 40th Anniversary Tour" thread in our forums! HASBRO CELEBRATES TRANSFORMERS DAY WITH A TRIBUTE TO PETER CULLEN, GLOBAL THEATRICAL EVENT AND NEW REVEALS This year’s celebration honors Peter Cullen’s six-decade career and enduring impact on the Transformers franchise, including the debut of “Optimus Prime: Awakening,” featuring his final original voice performance as Optimus Prime. The Transformers: The Movie returns to theatres in 4K alongside new product and collaboration reveals for fans and collectors PAWTUCKET, R.I. — September 17, 2026 — Hasbro, a leading games, IP and toy company, is marking the third annual Transformers Day with a celebration of the stories, characters and fans that have shaped the franchise for decades. This year holds special significance as Hasbro and the global Transformers community remember Peter Cullen, whose performance as Optimus Prime inspired generations and became an essential part of the franchise’s identity. Across a six-decade career in animation, film and broadcast, Cullen became best known for giving voice to Optimus Prime. With unmistakable strength, humanity and compassion, he helped cement the Autobot leader as an enduring symbol of courage, sacrifice and leadership. Beginning today, The Transformers: The Movie returns to theaters domestically and internationally in a newly restored 4K presentation from Hasbro and Fathom Entertainment. Following the credits, fans will experience Cullen’s final original performance as Optimus Prime in “Optimus Prime: Awakening,” an animated short debuting exclusively as part of the 40thanniversary theatrical event. “Optimus Prime: Awakening” is a fully realized, 12-minute animated short created as a love letter to the Transformers community and the late Peter Cullen. The animated short delivers emotional storytelling, electric action and new performances by legends Frank Welker as Megatron/Soundwave and Peter Cullen in his final original voice performance as Optimus Prime. Fans can now listen to the original score from “Optimus Prime: Awakening” on all streaming platforms. “Peter Cullen showed generations of fans that strength and gentleness can exist together,” said Kim Boyd, President of Licensing and Entertainment at Hasbro. “He shaped Optimus Prime around the example of his brother Larry, a decorated Vietnam veteran, who told him to ‘be strong enough to be gentle.’ Peter carried that guidance into a hero defined as much by compassion as courage. Those fortunate enough to know Peter recognized those same qualities in him. As we mark Transformers Day this year, we celebrate both the franchise Peter helped define while paying tribute to the extraordinary person behind one of its greatest heroes." Peter’s legacy will remain at the heart of the Transformers franchise as it continues to reach and inspire new generations. Beyond the theatrical celebration, Hasbro is commemorating Transformers Day with a slate of new reveals, launches and global activations celebrating the franchise’s past, present and future, including: Transformers Day Celebration at Battersea Power Station brings fans together at The Transformers Store in London for an exclusive screening of The Transformers: The Movie, followed by tribute speeches, refreshments and a celebration of the life, legacy and enduring heroism of Optimus Prime. HOT WHEELS TRANSFORMERS BUMBLEBEE marks the third 1:64 collaboration between the two iconic brands, Hot Wheels and Transformers. Inspired by the G1 character and reimagined with Hot Wheels flair, Bumblebee appears undercover as a weathered 1967 Volkswagen Beetle with Real Riders wheels and converts into a robot with 13 points of articulation. A new Transformers capsule collection at Target, offering fans fresh ways to celebrate the brand through figures, comics, apparel, home decor, drinkware, music and other collectibles from Hasbro and its partners, including CultureFly, Super7, Blokees, Monogram, Franco and Skybound Entertainment. See below for more info! Together, the 4K theatrical re-release, animated short and new product reveals mark one of the biggest moments in the year-long celebration of The Transformers: The Movie’s 40th anniversary. As the celebration continues through the end of the year, this moment brings fans together around the film’s enduring impact while honoring Cullen, whose extraordinary contribution will always be part of Optimus Prime. Sad news for all Transformers fans. The iconic voice for not only Optimus Prime, but many other classic characters such as Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh and K.A.R.R. from Knight Rider, has passed away. In this week where we have already felt the loss of Dolloy Parton and Tim Curry, this news just hit us like truck. We here at the Allspark send out our love, thoughts, and prayers to Peter Cullen's family, friends, and countless fans around the world. Thank you sir for everything you have given us, and for teaching us all to be strong enough to be gentle.
It is with great sadness that I bring to you word (if you haven't heard it already) that Tim Curry, star of stage and screen, recently passed away in his home at the age of 80. According to an article from The Guardian (citing Variety), he passed away peacefully, and the cause has yet to be determined. Curry had a prolific career, and there's a good chance you have even seen or heard him perform, even if you aren't aware of it. Perhaps his best known performance is that of Dr. Frank N. Further in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Or maybe that would be as Pennywise the Dancing Clown in It? Or Wadsworth in the movie adaptation of the Hasbro/Parker Brothers/Waddingtons murder mystery board game, Clue? Of course, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention Soviet Premier Anatoly Cherdenko in the video game Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. (Just to name a few.) He didn't just shine in front of the camera, but behind the microphone as well. From Ferngully to Disney's Beauty and the Beast to Rugrats to Scooby-Doo, he's voiced all sorts of characters in animation and videos games, too. In Fox's Peter Pan & the Pirates, he lent his voice to an excellent and memorable version of none other than Captain Hook himself. In Darkwing Duck, he was the voice of the Canard Crusader's very first supervillain, Taurus Bulba. Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM? Princess Sally's father, King Acorn. He even gave Perry the Platypus a voice (by proxy) as Dr. Lloyd Wexler in Phineas and Ferb. (Again, just to name a few.) It's only a shame that he never got to bring his passion into our world, where things are more than meets the eye, The Transformers. Oh, wait -- he did. Image via TFWiki Debuting in Episode 12 of the 2012 season of Transformers: Rescue Bots, "The Other Doctor", Tim Curry lent his voice to Doctor Thaddeus Morocco, creator of the MorBots and many headaches for Rescue Force Sigma-17 from Griffin Rock. He would go on to voice the character for his appearances in the first season, culminating in the excellent two-part season finale, "It's a Bot Time" and "Bot to the Future". Unfortunately, due to a stroke he suffered only two months after the character's debut, he was not able to reprise the role in later seasons. Instead, that task fell to Jonny Rees, though you can feel the influence of Curry in his work. Not everyone checked out Transformers: Prime's sister series, however, and so may have missed the one and only role he got to perform alongside the Robots in Disguise. Fortunately, a YouTube user by the name of "Артём Ляш" has put together a handy playlist of Morocco's many appearances on the show, which you can find right here: Yeah, the playlist starts a little earlier than Episode 12. They were dropping some hints towards his arrival earlier on. It's not much, but I just wanted to take an opportunity here to pay tribute to the works of Mr. Curry and thank him for the wonderful performances he gave us. Thank you, and we'll see you in SPACE! Well, it's been a long 42 days, but as promised, Transformers: Cyberworld is back with an Energon Surge! (Yeah, I figured I should probably fit that in there somewhere. None of the branding on the YouTube video did.) The season is starting off strong, not only bringing us two episodes for the premiere (which hopefully bodes well for my Cybertronic Spree and AEW All In plans next weekend), but there's also no string of backwards-ordered episodes hanging off the end! Here's the gist of this 10-minute double-stack, right from the YouTube description (for posterity, if nothing else): And for your viewing pleasure (maybe; more on that in a moment), here are the episodes ("Next Level" and "Magnetic Revulsion") themselves: As usual, here's my recap/review, complete with spoilers! I can guess where the episodes split, but I'm just going to treat it as one big thing here: But what did you think? Catch anything I didn't? Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "Transformers CyberWorld: Energon Brouhaha" thread in our forums! Image via Toronto Blue Jays On August 1st, 2026, Major League Baseball team the Toronto Blue Jays held a special "Transformers Day" event at their hometown stadium, the Rogers Centre Skydome. What this meant was that after the game, they were going to be running the 1986 The Transformers: The Movie up on the big screen for all ticket holders to see. Now, I'm not huge into baseball, but I do like to go to the occasional game. Mostly because there's no hot dog like a ball park hot dog, but there's usually a pretty fun vibe, too. So having this happen just down the street from me? How could I resist? How did it go? Well, read on to find out. The promotion for the event was... well, let me put it this way, I had a hard time finding much about it from the Blue Jays account on Twitter (I tried Bluesky as well, but only found tumbleweeds on their accounts). The main thing going around was this Theme Days page, which has an FAQ about the movie, plus a mention that the first 15,000 in would get this neat Blue Jays Transformers hat: The idea is that you can change out the emblem on the front to any of the six Transformers faces shown. I thought it an interesting selection, given the big event is about the '86 movie. Sure, all of them are in it, but... I guess you gotta have Bumblebee no matter what these days. Still, would have been nice to have Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime and Galvatron on there. Didn't matter for me in the end, though, as we wound up arriving too late to get one (so if anything, not having the '86 cast was more of a mercy). Had no idea the doors were opening at 1pm. Ah, well. We were there in time for the start of the game, took our seats, and it wasn't long before the big screen cut away to reveal something interesting: "Transformers Day" wasn't just about the movie or the hat; they had an entire event going on throughout the stadium as the game was going on! So my wife and I decided to, as Thundercracker might say, "see what we could see." And get some shots and stuff for you all here on the Allspark, of course. After a visit to the service desk to ask about where to go, it turned out they had a QR code that took me to this page, revealing that "Transformers Day" was -- perhaps fittingly enough, in retrospect -- "more than meets the eye." I had no idea any of this would be going on going in! So, let's take it from the top... or rather, the bottom. We were seated at the top 500 level, and wound up working our way down, but this is the way they're listed on the site. At one of the entrances on 100 Level was "The Stop," where you could get your face painted with Transformers insignias. I didn't take any pics, as there wasn't much to see, and it just felt like it would be creepy if I photographed a bunch of kids getting their faces painted. But across from it was a big Optimus Prime graphic on the wall, and his "hand" that you could "step into" for a photo op. Except when asked, the people working the event there said you can't actually stand on the hand platform, so here's my lovely wife and Axe of the Blood God/Retronauts host Nadia Oxford standing behind it: "I approve of your choice of basketball team, but not its star player's tendency to travel." Oh, and instead of taking someone's face, Optimus gave us his! "Freedom is-- ow! Til all are-- ouch! One shall-- oof! Would you quit stepping on me long enough to finish one of my classic lines?!" To walk on, that is. That was it for the first level, so welcome to the next level! On 200 Level was a coloring wall, featuring a black-and-white image of Autobots and Decepticons locked in battle for fans to color in as they pleased: It was hard to get a picture of the whole thing -- in fact, it was hard to get good pictures of a lot of the stuff there, with so many people walking around and doing stuff, so I hope you appreciate what I do for you people. Ahem. Image via Toronto Blue Jays While I wasn't able to get any pics of the Autobot Lounge (seen above), nor verification that those were Energon cubes, I was able to get pics of the Autobots backwall with big Blue Jays letters: Probably a good time to note there were lots of cutouts of various Transformers in their "evergreen" designs around, too. Bay 4 had an entire arcade with Transformers games and non-Transformers games alike! As you can see, in addition to SEGA's Transformers: Human Alliance games in two forms, there was also the recently-released Stern Pinball machine, which I gave a good try. I had some pretty good fun with that, but stopped after a few minutes so more of the kids around could have a turn. Don't want them to get corrupted by Bayformers before they can experience G1, after all. There was a photo op to let you see how you'd look as a Transformer: I, uh, don't know if they mean that literally, like having some sort of software that would Transform my face or something, or if it just meant standing on a Blue Jay-controlled Cybertron. I missed the former part until reading back just now, so I just kinda assumed the latter. Shame. It would probably have been an improvement. "Curious what you’d look like standing next to Ace and Diamond as Transformers? Come to Section 237 to find out and let our caricature artists transform you!" Ace and Diamond are the new Blue Jays mascots, and they were on the field dressed as Optimus and Bumblebee. It was hard to get any good pics of them, but you can see them here: Kids 14 and under could "show [their] creativity while playing with a bunch of Transformers figurines" in the "Build-a-bot zone". Again, no pictures. Lotta Transformers: Cyberworld toys were there, though. Image via Toronto Blue Jays. Yeah, I took one or two as well, but this once's better. Speaking of Transformers: Cyberworld, they invited everyone to "Visit the Transformers figurine wall photo opportunity, showcasing a wide variety of Transformers figurines of all your favourite characters." Nothing to purchase, only look at, behind glass. A few Studio Series and more "collector" oriented figures managed to sneak their way in, including the new Icons Optimus Prime, and Kranix is in there somewhere, along with Devastation Optimus and Bumblebee. The funny part is, there are a lot of repeats in there, too. So as collections go, it's more like getting a pic at the toy store, rather than someone's comprehensive collection. Alright, now it's time to take it to the top! The 500 Level, to be precise, which is where we began our "Transformers Day" journey. (I mean, kinda.... we had to enter at 100, just through a different entrance, then make our way up.) In the Defeat the Decepticons Sports Zone, you could win a prize if you scored well enough with pitching and batting accuracy: I didn't see any mention of prizes when I was there, or else I might have given it a shot. My batting is probably utter scrap, but my throwing arm is usually pretty good. If there's one thing we all know Bumblebee loves to do, it's dance. So of course they'd have a Bumblebee Dance Party section... ...wait, why is he in car mode? They had a DJ playing some tunes with Optimus and the Autobots gathered around: And live music performers! I think that does it for everything listed on the secret site, but here's some other stuff we saw as we wandered around. I'm not sure what they were doing there, but looking out a window from the top level, we could see what appears to be Bumblebee and Barricade across the street. As far as I'm aware, they weren't a part of the festivities, and they weren't letting people go in and out, so it would be an awkward place for a photo op, to say the least. They got little festive with Transformers balloons when they weren't decorating everything with air duct hoses. In addition to the coloring wall, which seemed to end up becoming a big graffiti wall, there was... well, an actual graffiti wall. The Corona bars were decked out with Transformer heads. I got as many as I could: Okay, I must be getting old. I admit I can't remember every single last Transformer anymore, but... I don't know who half these guys are. First pic: Is that... Prowl? Second is clearly Optimus... except he has a mouth. Well, that's not uncommon these days, though it kinda looks more like it's on top of/in his face plate, rather than behind one. And not even in the cool Optimus Primal split-mask way. Pic two, Bumblebee and Arcee. Pic three, I don't know and I don't know even harder. Pic four has some repeats, but still no one I recognize. Do you? Sound off in the comments below! ... What I wish I could provide more of here was the special menu they had for "Transformers Day", but I can't find mention of it anywhere online, not even the online food list during the event. But I did get this one sign for something being sold all around the arena: Look, I'm not going to lie to you: I wanted to get this. Even after seeing the price. However, after seeing someone with one and how large it was, I'm fairly certain it would have worked well for two people. Problem was, my wife was nowhere near as interested, so we passed on it. They had some other stuff, but amusingly, all the Transformers-themed drinks had alcohol in them. We went back to our seats, and here's a little footage I got with most of a speech from Optimus Prime during the game about the movie showing afterwards: https://bsky.app/profile/lbdnytetrayn.bsky.social/post/3ms34tom4ls2t The Power of the Primes must have been with the Blue Jays, as they overcame the competition brought forth by their opponents, the St. Louis Cardinals, with a score of 5-1. Til All Are Won Maybe they should have made it a "Transformers Weekend", though, as the Cardinals would flip the script and overcome the Jays with their own 5-1 triumph in Sunday's game. Anyway, after the game -- well, they weren't kidding about "select" concessions remaining open. Pretty much everything shut down immediately after the game. I was really hoping to try one of those "Kaz-adillas" I saw promoted throughout our walk around the stadium, but alas, it was not to be. Too bad, I've never had a quesadilla with smoked brisket before. A significant chunk of the crowd cleared out after the game, which meant we could sit just about anywhere. But we had a really good view of the screen already, so we moved closer to the exit, but not too far from where we already were. The movie showing was fun, and a novel way to experience the film. And really, that's what the whole day was about to me. That, and getting to hear other fans react at certain. I was surprised when there was like, no crying from any of the kids when Optimus died. Or heck, the adults, for that matter. Maybe they're a hardier generation than we were. There was quite a crowd pop when Daniel saved Spike and the others, though. Going in, I wondered if this was going to be the same showing as the "Apology Tour" showing that's supposed to come out next month. Alas, it was not. Or if it was, they cut off whatever was added after the movie, as they shut down the video after the credits began to roll. The song continued on for a bit, but was also cut short, much to my disappointment. It was very "Eat it and get out", only without the "eat it" part, as noted above. So if there was anything to behold, we didn't get to see it. Oh well, September it is, then! All in all, it was a pretty fun time. I mainly went for the movie, but was surprised by the wealth of other things going on. If they do something like this again, I can recommend it, particularly if you have kids who are into Robots in Disguise. This is it! The end of the road! Okay, that might seem inaccurate for episode 36, "For the Win III: For Cyberworld," given there's a second season coming, but trust me, it's not really any worse than YouTube's title, "Bumblebee VERSUS Optimus Prime". As for the description, here's what they have to say: Anyway, here's the episode: And here is my spoiler-filled recap and review! But what did you think? Catch anything I didn't? Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "Bumblebee is a little bitch and Optimus is lead around by his balls" (oh, my...) thread in our forums! We've reached the middle of the end of the first part of the story. Episode 35 is "For the Win II: Threat from Above", though it's titled on YouTube as "The Fall of Optimus Prime." () It is described there as such: Check it out, yo: And here be ye recap and review, with spoilers, no less! But what did you think? Catch anything I didn't? At long last, it's the end of the road... well, for the season, anyway. To that end, it looks like we're getting a three-parter. Ought to be a real hoot to watch when they run them backwards with the last episode, but we're getting ahead of ourselves. Episode 34: "For the Win I: Dragon's Lair" (aka "Galvatron is UNSTOPPABLE!" on YouTube, because I guess that's where we are as a society now) is described by the aforementioned video uploading site thusly: Succinct. If you haven't seen it yet (and hey, if you're like me, you had a busy weekend. So, entirely plausible), here it is for your viewing enjoyment: And for my "earning my paycheck around here" enjoyment, here's a spoiler-filled review/recap of what went down in the episode. So... we're just doing our Saturday morning cartoons on Fridays now? Cool, cool... Episode 33, "Help Wanted" (or, for the YouTube algo-kiddies out there, "Bumblebee's CYBER Prison Escape!") is now available for us all to enjoy and pick apart! Here's the official description: Check it out for yourself here: And now, your spoiler-filled recap/review. But what did you think? Catch anything I didn't? Well, that didn't last long. When we last left our heroes, Optimus Prime was asking Airachnid if she could do the dance with her fingers that would let her peek into his noggin and figure out all the weird flashes of memory he's been having over the series. And that's basically where Episode 32, "Woeful Recall" (or "Optimus Prime Needs Surgery!" if you speak YouTubelish), picks up. And as ever, here's the recap/review of the episode. This shouldn't take long... So, what did you think? Catch anything I didn't? Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "Transformers CyberWorld: Optimus STILL Hates Spiders" (which inspired the title for this post) thread in our forums! What the?! A new episode of Transformers: Cyberworld? And only a week after the last one? What madness is this? Maybe with World Cup fever in full swing, they wanted to get a piece of the action. Looking at the episode's YouTube title, "Cyber-WORLD Cup 2026: Team Optimus vs Dinobots!", yeah. That's gotta be it. The description for episode 31, "Alley-O.P.", reads as follows: Check it out here: And of course, here's my spoiler-y recap/review: So, what did you think? Catch anything I didn't? I'm ba-ack! Okay, so I was feeling kinda sick when episode 29 came out -- both figuratively and literally. Figuratively in the sense that it seemed like Cyberworld was starting to spin its wheels to keep the big mystery going (and I didn't seem to be alone), and literally in the sense that I was actually sick with some sort of virus or something. The less said about that, the better. By the time I was up to doing something like this, well, the next episode was around the corner, so I figured I might as well make a double feature of it. And I'm glad I did! More for the second episode than the first, but we'll get into that shortly. First up, we have episode 29, "One Last Byte," whose description reads: Then there's Episode 30, "." No point in spoilering this, since a) they not only want you to know who is in this episode, right down to putting it on the thumbnail, but b) what we saw at the end of 29 was a pretty blatant clue. So please don't shoot the messenger here. Oh, wait -- I can just put the episode embed and description behind their own spoiler until you're done with the above episode (assuming you've not watched it already). Then we just change out the admittedly much cooler thumbnail, blur out this episode's title, aaaaaand... ...done! Now, for my recaps/reviews which contain -- you guessed it -- more spoilers. I'll do each episode individually, though. So, what did you think? Catch anything I didn't? Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "Transformers CyberWorld: Optimus STILL Hates Spiders" (which inspired the title for this post) thread in our forums!
