"Autobots... transform, and get down!" From YouTube's description of Transformers: Cyberworld Episode 28, "Everybody Dance, Ow!": Looks like we've gone back to traveling backwards through time, as episodes 27, 26, and 25 are attached to the end here. I still want to know if anyone actually watches these that way. And if they do, are they able to make any sense of it? Now, as per usual, here's my recap/review: So, what did you think? Catch anything I didn't? Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "Transformers CyberWorld: Optimus Has Fallen and He Can't Get Up" (which inspired the title for this post) thread in our forums! This weekend, "Waves of Guilt," the 27th episode of Transformers: Cyberworld, hit YouTube. The description given on YouTube is as follows: Check it out for yourself here: As for my (late, admittedly; it's been a busy weekend) thoughts and opinions... So, what did you think? Catch anything I didn't? It's time once again for a new episode of Transformers: Cyberworld, and a new recap/review! The official description for Episode 26, "What Lies Beneath", reads as follows: Check it out for yourself here: After the new stuff, game scenes from episodes 21, 20, 14, and 13 are included (thanks, Sabrblade). And of course, here are my spoiler-filled thoughts and what I noticed throughout this surprisingly brisk episode: Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "Transformers CyberWorld: You Know The Song!" thread in our forums! It's time for a new episode of Transformers: Cyberworld! Here's the YouTube description for "Pride Before the Fall": Check it out for yourself: In addition, according to Sabrblade, the rest of the run time is filled out with fight scenes from episodes 3, 7, 9, 13, and 17. And as usual, here's my spoiler-rific recap and review of the episode: Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "Transformers CyberWorld: You Know The Song!" thread in our forums! Transformers: Cyberworld is back with a new episode! In "Oh Crate, This Again," a new crate drop has appeared, and Team Optimus is out to get it, since the boost device they have is too dangerous. Unfortunately, they're not the only ones interested in whatever lies within the box... Or, if you'd rather read the description from YouTube: Check it out, yo: Plus more game scenes after, if that's your jam. And here's my recap and thoughts (spoilers, of course): Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "Transformers CyberWorld: You Know The Song!" thread in our forums! Garry Chalk took to his Facebook to give us an update on how his battle with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma is going, and the news? It's good! Here's the message from the man himself, via Chalk Talk on Twitter: Chalk Talk adds that Garry was the first candidate in Canada to receive an experimental chemotherapy, and due to its success, it will now be used on more patients. I think he would agree that there's a word for that... We knew you could do it, Big Bot. For those who don't know, Garry Chalk is perhaps best known among Transformers fans for portraying Optimus Primal in Beast Wars and Beast Machines, as well as Optimus Prime in Transformers: Armada, Transformers: Energon, and Transformers: Cybertron. Outside of Transformers, he has had numerous roles in franchises such as Mega Man, ReBoot, Sonic the Hedgehog (including a live action part in the first movie), and Masters of the Universe, among many others. After another week off, it's time for another week on Cyberworld! For "Hider & Seeker," the YouTube description is thus: Check it out: As an added bonus, Sabrblade says that the game scenes -- yes, only those -- from episodes 6, 2, 8, and 11 are attached afterward. Eh, makes more sense than running the previous three episodes backwards, at least. Anyway, here's my spoiler-filled recap and thoughts: Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "Transformers 2 Cyber 2 World" thread in our forums! Looks like Transformers: Cyberworld had graduated from a mere stopgap filler line to a [Note to self: Come back and insert something witty here later. --LBD] line! IGN reports that Transformers: Cyberworld, the little line that was said to only be here to fill in the gap until Hasbro had an idea of what to do after abandoning Earthspark early, is going into extra innings with a second season slated to debut on YouTube in August 2026. Here's the synopsis: To that end, the second season comes with a potential subtitle to reflect the new importance the Transformers' life force plays in this chapter of the saga: "Energon Surge"! To that end, a new Bumblebee "Power Spark" figure will be released this Summer based on a new form he'll take as a result of this new surge of energon: This 11-inch figure (no telling yet whether he'll get an accompanying growth spurt in the show, but that would be cool) transforms in four steps, has lights and sounds, and his weapons combine to form a nifty little drone that resembles an insect of some unknown variety. Possibly a wasp... Anyway, this Bee will buzz for you once you lay down $54.99 USD And just for funsies, here are some stock images of Bumblebee in his original and recently-upgraded Cyberworld forms, which he can switch between freely. Think Power Spark will effectively make him a triple-changer? And since you probably want the full monty, here's the promo image for the upcoming season in its entirety: Sources: IGN, via Tformers, via Steevy Maximus. You know, like we usually do. Only we don't have to do it alone this time! Beginning at 10am (presumably EST) on Saturday, February 14th, Hasbro Pulse is hosting a watch along as they stream Valentine's themed episodes from the original Transformers cartoon! Now, I don't remember any being specifically themed towards Valentine's Day, but there were a few romantic ones sprinkled about in there. So join in, and cheer as Powerglide gets the girl! Cry as Seaspray parts ways with the one girl who can put up with his gargling voice! Laugh as Ultra Magnus says "I've never seen anything this beautiful in the entire galaxy... All right, give me the bomb." Cry again as you're reminded of when Season 5 left weekday syndication for Saturday mornings with Puppetmaster Optimus Prime, and that's how the show went out! It all happens tomorrow morning on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube Channel! Or, if you insist on being alone, I guess maybe you can just watch it via the embed here. Or turn off the chat there, whatever works for you. [/SPOILER] Allspark Forums Discord Server Twitter/X Facebook Page Bluesky Instagram
In Lessons Swiftly Learned And Never (Or Repeatedly) Forgotten news, the 40th anniversary of the 1986 The Transformers: The Movie is under way, and Hasbro has decided to celebrate it in a unique, and perhaps appropriate, way. Bitter children of the 80s Fans everywhere may be delighted to discover that Hasbro is embarking on The Apology Tour, a cheeky playful celebration of the franchise's animated classic and its role in killing Optimus Prime escalating the age-old battle between Autobots and Decepticons. This tour includes "special fan events and screenings" across the year, a slew of cool 86-movie-related Studio Series product, and apparently even more from Hasbro AND partners like Super 7, Jada Toys, Culture Fly, and beyond! Perhaps best of all, one thing that might smooth over any lingering hurt feelings is the chance to have THE TOUCH. Hasbro is finally releasing an official roleplay Matrix of Leadership that opens, glows, charges, AND plays "The Touch"! You know the song, you know the lyrics! (Shhh... don't forgive them yet. Let's see what we can get if we hold out!) Allspark Forums Discord Server Twitter/X Facebook Page Bluesky Instagram
It's been two weeks since we last left our heroes, and now we see why: Starscream wasn't kidding when he said he was putting Wheeljack to work! In Episode 22, "Drone Alone," Optimus acts as a diversion while Mirage and the rest of his team mount an attempt to rescue Wheeljack. How does it go? Well, watch and find out! And if you keep watching, 22 is followed by episodes 21, 20, and 19, in case you're some kind of psycho who spits in the face of chronal continuity. As for my thoughts on the episode (spoilers abound): Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the "Transformers Cyberworld: I Axed You a Question" thread in our forums! Transformers: Cyberworld is back with Wheeljack! In the 21st episode, "Beyond Repair", Wheeljack is racing through Cyber City and comes face-to-smug-face with Starscream. However, a portal opens, leading to an exercise where fixing machines is the name of the game. Wheeljack's got this one on lock... right? Watch and find out: Episodes 20, 19, and 18 are shown after, because we're back to that nonsense. My thoughts? Yeah, this is a Transformers site. Doesn't mean we're above covering other nerdy news, especially when it comes to some of Hasbro/the brand's current partners in toy crime. In case you haven't seen it, Amazon MGM Studios has released a new official teaser trailer for the upcoming Masters of the Universe movie that we never thought would happen. Why would we think that? Because it's basically been in development hell for almost 20 years (one more would've done it!). For comparison, Sonic the Hedgehog's movie was only there for seven. Anyway, here's what they dropped on us: There's a lot to take in, and here to help with that is none other than the guy who wrote the book on Masters of the Universe (seriously, man, own it), "Pixel" Dan Eardley! Masters of the Universe, directed by Travis Knight of Bumblebee fame, will arrive in theaters on June 5th, 2026. What do you think? Is it hitting all the right notes so far? Are you tempted to check it out to see if it might finally stoke your craving for those Masters of the Universe x Transformers collaborative figures? Let us know in the comments, or chat about it in the "He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe" thread in our forums! And remember: May the Power Protect You! ...wait... Catching up with Transformers: Cyberworld again. Fortunately, there was no new episode this week, so I can just focus on last week's. The YouTube description for Episode 20, "Over the Sea", reads as follows: Find out for yourself! Then stick around for my review behind the spoiler tag! Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the Transformers Cyberworld: YOU'RE TEARING ME APART, ELITA! thread in our forums! With a tip of the hat to the forum thread for the article name. I had the same idea upon seeing the title of the episode, but they had it first, so credit where credit is due. And the title of the episode? "Torn Apart." Also, I know this is coming in a little bit late. I spent most of the back end of December sick, and I'm still not 100%, but I'm well enough to manage this, at least. And hey, I'm still getting it done before TFWiki, so I've at least got that going for me. Anyway, when last we left our heroes, they were making their way off of Cyberworld... until a mysterious voice told them "No, you can't go yet -- we still have 18 more episodes!" And so they abandoned ship. Probably for the best, it wasn't exactly a very good ship. But what was that voice? What was its deal? Well, we know it belonged to Wheeljack, but just like Japanese Generation One, we thought he was dead until it turned out he wasn't. And the explanation as to why is a whole lot less convoluted. See for yourself: Like last time, I'm trying to spice this up with a recap and review of the episode. I mean, at this point, would there even be a point to this post otherwise? And that's it for now, until.... whenever the show returns! If you're new to this whole shebang, though, and want to get caught up in about an hour and 35 minutes, here's every episode thus far: Feel free to talk about this episode here, or the series as a whole over in the Transformers Cyberworld: YOU'RE TEARING ME APART, ELITA! thread in our forums! "The ship! Get to the ship! It's our only chance!" A familiar (but paraphrased) refrain from the 1986 classic The Transformers: The Movie, yes, but also a good summation of what this episode is about. Have a look-see for yourself: And as always, if you like the sensation of feeling like you're going back in time a few chunks at a time, then episodes 17, 16, and 15 trail this one. Now, doing something a little different this week, and giving a little bit of a recap and mini-review (because really, can you do a deluxe review on five minutes of cartoon?). Let me know what you think, and if response is positive, maybe I'll keep doing this. But, what do you think? Of the episode, and my commentary! Tell us in the comments below, or sound off in the "Transformers Cyberworld: Gotta Go Fast" thread in our forums! Just please be gentle, my feelings hurt easy. 😿 Edit: Whoops. Botched the opening line. Embarrassing, but fixed. Allspark Forums Discord Server Twitter/X Facebook Page Bluesky Instagram
Like the title says, it's Saturday night, and it's time for a BIG fight! But even if you're not checking out AEW Full Gear on pay-per-view, we've got one heck of a slobberknocker for you right here in Transformers: Cyberworld! And what's more, this fight is so big, they actually posted two new episodes at once! In "That's Gotta Sting" parts one and two, we pick up where we left off last time as Optimus Prime and the Autobots make another run at Scorponok. However, though Optimus and Bumblebee are now upgraded with new forms to bolster their chances, Scorponok has found new allies in Megatron, Sky-Byte, and Chop Shop! And now knowing what they do about Scorponok is just going to make the Autobots' job just that much harder. If that sounds more like it's about the buildup to the episode than the episode itself, that's because it is. Trust me, you don't want to be spoiled for this one, so set aside ten minutes to take it all in now, before it's too late: Okay, maybe they will -- it's on YouTube, after all. Still, that was one heck of an episode. Toyetic as hell, using a bunch of features from Grimlock and Scorponok, lots of video game references, some memes, and... well, that's all I want to say. But if you're reading this and you watched it, I think you know what I'm talking about. Good stuff. But, what do you think? Is this one a new favorite? Has it elevated this series in your eyes past just pablum filler until the next "big" series, or did it miss the mark for you? November 20, 2025 – Paramount+ unveiled today the trailer and premiere date for two thrilling new TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK specials from Hasbro premiering Thursday, December 5 on Paramount+. The specials continue the saga of a new generation of Transformers born on Earth - and the humans who welcome them - as they redefine what it means to be a family and face their greatest challenge yet. In "Hometown Heroes," every victory has a cost, and now the Maltos must face those consequences. When Robby is caught abusing his powers, Mo and "Detective" Thrash team up to prove their brother's innocence, while Twitch becomes her own worst enemy. In "Legacy of Hope," the Maltos and Autobots search Cybertron for their missing allies. Thrash steps up to help his struggling sister lead this critical mission, but tension divides the team when they need unity most. Meanwhile, Robby and Mo find a new friend, and Optimus finds an old enemy. TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK is produced by Nickelodeon Animation & Hasbro Entertainment and introduced audiences to a groundbreaking story that blended explosive action with heartfelt storytelling, exploring themes of belonging, unity, and what it means to protect the ones you love - whether they're human or Cybertronian Dale Malinowski (Nickelodeon’s Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) created and co-executive produces the Paramount+ original animated series with Ant Ward (Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). Kari Rosenberg oversaw TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK for Hasbro Entertainment and Leslie Wishnevski for Nickelodeon.
Are you ready, kids? It's time for new toys a brand new episode of Transformers Cyberworld! In Episode 15, "Heading to New Heist," our heroes head deep into the heart of Megatron's base of operations to gain new intel on the objective standing in the way of their leaving Cyberworld: Scorponok! But they find something else, too... Was anyone else just champing at the bit for Optimus and Bumblebee to get upgraded to their bigger toys? Or flummoxed that Elita-1 would choose to remain the Autobot equivalent of Knightboat where alt-modes are concerned? (Just you wait, there will come an episode where her unique manifestation is the key to victory, all to make me look bad.) And if the new episode isn't enough, it's followed by Episodes 14, 13, and 12! Well, that makes a kind of sense, compared to the random salad of combinations we've been getting, at least. But, what do you think? Does it feel like we're moving the story along again, or are the bots still spinning their wheels (well, those who have them, anyway) following the Galvatron incident? As Optimus Primal used to say, "We're back!" After a week off, a new episode of Transformers Cyberworld has arrived on YouTube today. In "Shoot 'N Loot," "Two squads drop into an all-out team shooter showdown! Bumblebee is learning that playing support isn’t as easy as it looks and his teammates are feeling the pain. Meanwhile, Mirage carries game-changing intel that could turn the tide, but convincing Optimus to believe him might be the toughest mission yet." So, what happened? Maybe we'll find out next time... or maybe it's better left to our imaginations. And if this new episode wasn't enough for you, you'll find 13, 6, and 8 following close behind, because I guess that's how kids like it these days? But, what do you think? What is this game-changing intelligence Mirage worked so hard for? And what do you think Chop Shop did to acquire it? Well, things didn't go too well for Optimus and his team last time, so they could sure use a break. A chance to regroup and get some levels back up. But naturally, in "Carousel Chaos," it's going to be easier said than done, as some familiar faces join the fray. Also: Face Warning! Kind of a bit of tone whiplash after the last one, and doesn't progress things much, but at least it gets the crew back on their feet to take on more, yeah? Oh, and if it interests you, Episodes 8, 2(?!), and 6 are attached at the end, because what are we even doing anymore? What is time? Who are you people? So, what do you think? Were you expecting more of a follow-up to what happened last time, or was the breather good for you? And is that game they were playing something you'd want to play in a video game?
