This was mostly skipped over given the news of a massive blue wave, but this is important to note. The Powers That Be want their view to be the only one presented. The monopolies on news organizations and the press in general should still scare everyone.

Yea, It's been a year since the 2024 elections and both of those names aren't really relevant to the current situation.

Nancy Pelosi is another aging Democrat who's finally stepping down and won't seek re-election in 2026. We'll see what ends up replacing her next year.
It's probably worth remembering that this is, specifically, the district in which San Francisco exists. They're far more likely to push for "more progressive and younger" than other parts of the country, even. Especially now that the long-time incumbent isn't a factor.
We're also screaming into a depression... the promise of a steady paycheque and healthcare will push the young'uns out in droves.
