Yeah, I'm aware. I actually kinda think Ironhide is outside Missing Link's scope, but maybe they would do it and just add more joints and leave him the weird mech thing that he is. But when they change and move Grimock's head, I'm not so sure what the scope is. Well, I guess Arcee is a whole...

I don't watch slasher stuff. Stranger Things never really got over the line where I was grossed out. Probably Henry's death comes the closest. Him helplessly gasping a gurgling is supposed to make us feel a little uncomfortable, right? I thought he was dead before he started that. I don't...

Is that Magneto? I think it might be Gandalf.

What can they do with Ironhide/Ratchet? Weren't they pretty much perfect the first time?

I remember what one of them was. "Same"

Blurr and Arcee have a lot of similarity. If they were starting a G1 now with nothing to shoehorn into, I would start with Blurr. But wierdly where you might think "Arcee would be like Hotrod, Kup, and Blurr", those guys are a LOT different from each other.

I was focused on the way that the person I was replying to used the word. I would still be arguably wrong if you compare to Sideswipe. She has foldout heels to make her feet more stable. Did we have that in G1? She has a U-shape armature to swing the hood/chest. Did we have that in G1...

I didn't take notes, but they said things like (not necessarily including!) "Right?" and "Said No one Ever" and such. Things I know people didn't say when I was a kid.

G1 toys didn't even HAVE panels. She is CR through and through.

It is a bit of a dartboard situation. I got both, I haven't opened orange and I don't know if I will, but sometimes I try to make collection decisions based on historicity. What is going to be the point of my collection some day? I don't think of the prototype colors as an indication of what...

I backed it. But it doesn't seem like it is going to double its backing in 9 more days. I was definitely a fan when the show aired. Edit - Well, it made another $5000 during the night. $5000 a day would get it there.

I really noticed several times this season modern colloquialisms being used. I don't remember noticing before.

Yeah. They just didn't want to.

I am also surprised that

I kinda think 2 plot points that they were probably planning for a while wound up contradicting each other and they just tried to breeze by it.

It could be that there were only ever a handful of Demogorgons and Will killed them all. I think it was a pretty bold move reducing the main villain to a dying man, helplessly gasping for air and finishing him off with an violent indignant death.

Right. It is a weird disappointment, but I was looking forward to a doofy transformation.

The denouement was excessive and maudlin. The first half of the episode was very dot to dot on the plan they briefly sketched in the episode before, but there were some interesting twists and some very satisfying visuals.

Fully engineered styrofoam?

I just opened Arcee and I'm pretty disappointed. Do I recall correctly that the photographed prototype of Arcee is missing and perhaps wasn't fully engineered to begin with? This toy isn't even kind of convincing as a G1 toy. Not the Missing Link of it, but just the transformation is at least...
