Last week on Strange New Worlds they took out the shuttle Galileo and I knew it would come back fine. This week, she’s taking Archimedes and I have a bad feeling about it.
Edit - Archimedes was a total loss.
I think I wrote about it above and the way you replied it feels like you didn't just run into it today. I've been bothering you.
I'm going by my eyes. Kirk is a young Captain in TOS. Scott is a seasoned hand, well into middle age. He's just one of those solid backbone officers that a young...
Watching this episode and then looking back at the season and considering the apparent upcoming Muppet episode, I get Thor 4 vibes. Yes, you took some risks with Thor 3 and it paid off, but I didn't want THIS.
Una not being able to control herself around Doug is just dumb and not given any...
It's also strong-arm thuggery "deal" making stuff. CHIPS Act awarded grants to Intel during Biden Administration, but it didn't get time to pay. Trump hasn't paid and 64% of the price of the stocks was paid with those already-award grants. Trump went in to make sure he got something for it.
Not at all. When Trump talks about Mamdani he emphasizes that he's not just a socialist. He's a COMMUNIST. But someone got this one by Trump. Not clear yet if it was Mamdani.
Did they say what it is meant to be? I don't think it really looks like flames. It looks like the inside of a cave, but what is lighting it? Could it maybe be the Golden Age?
Probably both have in common that the bulk of the audience doesn't notice any problem, but is the Excelsior going to get bigger? Because Enterprise is almost as big as Excelsior now.
If someone catches him at just the right moment is he going to say he knows more about Epstein than anyone else in the world? Do you just have to ask the question in a way that makes it sound like a smart person would understand it?
I can't look at the shooting model and count decks, but there are a hundred books and a hundred websites with the dimensions of the Enterprise. But I think the ST5 thing is exacerbated by the decks on Starships starting at the top and numbering down.
This is like the ST5 turbo lift where all you had to do is see if it was written down somewhere, which MIGHT have been harder in 1989 than it is now. Finding the length of the Enterprise can now be done by anyone with a computer.
