My original take on the point of this show was that it was to tell us the adventures of the Enterprise the years before TOS and that the theme would be "Of COURSE Kirk's crew was great, but there have been so many great crews doing neat things" and the first season really seemed to bear that...

I would be really uncomfortable saying publicly that if someone says "Anti-fascist" they must be my opponents.

It appears that rationalizing it will be a big job. What should Charlie have done differently?

I saw somewhere (probably APNews) about the engravings on the shell casings. If those are Groyper slogans, then he is Groyper or pretends to be or the officials are pretending he is and I don't see how any of those make sense other than him being Groyper.

I enjoyed this one. It is a strong send-off for Batel. In a vacuum it would be really nice that he gets to remember a long happy life when he is going to have the accident, but we know he's going to have another illusion life afterward so.... I told me wife about it. She isn't a Star Trek...

Ow

It is a big deal because it may have been a Romulan temporal agent.

Mm hmm. I don't at all endorse this thought, but the CIA has people that can make that shot.

If nothing else comes of this, there is at least this: "Trump has condemned the “demonizing” of political opponents in the U.S. "

Except not Epstein birthday notes.

Are you feeling targeted for some reason?

Watch the clip you linked, man. That's a killing machine Gorn.

Trump has to make it about divisive TALK. If he says the military needs to take control, what will they do? Take away guns?

Trump was handed two very difficult needles to thread today. To get at some Hamas leaders, Israel bomb the country that gave Trump the plane. And then hours later one of his most ardent campaigners is a victim of a crime that will have to be demonstrated to be an outrage and also not a reason...

I will not cheer at a man's death and I will not miss Charlie Kirk.

This one is not quite SNW's problem. Enterprise switched the Gorn. I was willing to let Enterprise redefine an alien that only appeared once in TOS. The TNG episode that introduced the Ferengi is hard to reconcile now and the introduction of the Trill is outright impossible. However, SNW may...

Well, I don't LIKE that, but it IS an explanation with a lantern hung on it.

A few days ago you were satisfied to agree to disagree, so I hope I'm not one of your screaming folks. Whelp, the goal posts moved. You wanted onscreen canon, but that didn't agree with you, so now you need a story ABOUT Scotty being older. *shrugs. The line in Relics was not just a random...

So the character is 37 in SNW Season 3 and the actor is 31, which wouldn't ordinarily be a big deal, but he feels like he's playing 24 to me. That's totally subjective, I know, but his role is very like Uhura's. Ambitious, bright, and competent but wowza what am I doing here?
