Well I have two modes of thought on that. The first is that 2026 has been overall a good rebound year for theatres, one of the better years since COVID, and Cars and TFTM are two beloved classic animated flicks (I feel old calling Cars a classic but it is what it is). So I'm not sure...

It's a pretty solid IDW Galvatron.

Ah gotcha. This is the second MLP thing I've watched. Just this and FiM. So I had no idea G1 had them. Interesting. Anyway one ep in and I like Teddy. He's a kindred spirit. Don't let them grind you down, my dude!

Yeah I get that proto FiM vibe. A single town, cast of main girls, some recognizable side characters. Slice of life. The fantasy and adventure elements being gone is pretty interesting. I realized as I was writing my recap for Ep 1 that if you just swapped the ponies out for human kids nothing...

Ep 1/1 Bon Bon's Diary The opening titles set the tone. Just a bunch of ponies waking up in their very girly early 90s bedrooms. I do get why some people take issue with this... replace these ponies with human girls and you basically have a stock standard tween/teen drama on the Disney Channel...

So... My Little Pony. Like a lot of people, the huge breakout success of MLP Friendship is Magic caught me by surprise. I was just finishing undergrad/starting grad school when it kicked off and I went from surprised, to annoyed it was seemingly everywhere, to curious. I checked it out, fell in...

Bailey's was the only "new" Optimus whose take I felt was an annoying Peter Cullen impersonation. He sounded like your friend who's good at impressions who did "Optimus Prime" at a party for a laugh. Everyone else has been fine to good for me. Sure a lot of them are going for a Cullen-esque...

Bailey got a shot at Optimus and he stopped getting calls because he sucked. Gilvezan is hardly as well known as Bumblebee as Cullen was for Optimus, and even then it's not like Cullen had a monopoly on Optimus as a role. I like Dan. He's a great guy by all accounts... but throwing a fit over...

I'm sure all twelve people who could afford it were delighted.

While I respect the drive to get his bag, too much about his behaviour bugs (ha) me. First, as you said, he's not nearly as synonymous with Bumblebee as Cullen was with Optimus or Welker is with Megatron. Actors don't own roles, and he hasn't been this role in a long while. Secondly, assuming...

Oh I know it. And I'll be there for it. That'll be "The Hushening: A New Beginning"! I've been eying the BK stuff, if only because they have Batman Begins and Batman Forever Sonar releases out... and those are my two favourite cinematic Batsuits. The issue is they're 8 inch scale which...

"'sup."

Why not?

I'd check one out. The only time I ever found T30 Sandstorm was at a TRU outlet in Guelph, Ontario. You never know.
