Misassemblies aren't unheard of '86 prime had the feet thing, and Miner Megatron had his inner knees the wrong way around.

I think this was already confirmed, but I don't want to speak out of turn.
Heads up, sound like Star Convoy has a misassembly issue, but looks like it's an easy fix.

The other issue is that, well, they kind of nailed it in their first go.
G1 was fractured from the start (four separate cotinuities by the end) so it never had a definitive version, really. Some people like the cartoon over the comic, or vice versa. Some people read the UK comic and not the...
IDW at least seemed to have dropped the "It's prehistoric Earth" portion, but they just didn't have enough time to actually do anything with it before they lost the license.
Beast Wars has also a lot less major entries, none of which were as big as the initial one(s). (BW, BW Japan, Uprising, the IDW minis and then the IDW ongoing) Oh and I guess War for Cybertron is in there as well, and Rise of the Beasts if you really want.

(Based on some real quick and dirty googling...
Transformers living for millions of years might be my favorite bit of "Some people making a kids cartoon pulled something out of their butts and now 40 years later we have to rationalize it" of Transformers. Some of that might have to do with my own mortality anxiety, as well as how I've...
The problem with Marvel Fort Max is that toy makes up for a lot of deficiencies by being a bigass city, so downscaling him really hurts it as a toy. As that "aircraft" mode that's just him splayed out with a big tower on his gut ain't great either.
At least with Scorponok, a big scorpion is...
I like the thirteen as an aspect of cybertronian culture: I don't need them to be real; I don't need stories of the 13 returning and Optimus meeting Prima or Megatron battling the Fallen or whatever. They're better as mythological beings; stories and parables that cybertronians use to explain...
