So where's a good place to order these in the US without having to make the trek to Botswana? Everywhere I've looked is either sold out or just not carrying them.

In the US? Convention dealer-room vendors who specialize in Japanese Transformers toys. That's your best bet.

Maybe if you're lucky some stores in Namibia will get some stock snuck over the border.

I'm mixed on the WKB range so far. Obviously they were going to redeco existing molds (even given how much is already shared/reused), and things generally look good (I'm just not feeling the redecos of Frost Saber and Lavamuleta). And it is cool that they at least swap the energy powers around too. But I'm trying to keep to one representation of each character/design, so I'll have to skip the new Lightlong, Capt. Volca, and Hydrophant as I'm good with their original colors (Aqua energy Capt. Volca looks great though; if this had been a Spirituan redeco...)

The new-new ones are appealing, though; hope I can get around to them soon.

Yeah, I've been all-in on Wildking from the start, so I've gotten all the recolors so far. But, early on I was assuming that this would be a pretty small line. If it keeps going (and I hope it does!) I may very well scale back to only getting new molds / remolds unless the recolors are particularly good like that green/red/yellow Lavamuleta. He's gorgeous.

Looking at the distribution of elements, once the Earth Pachycephalosaurus and electricity elephant arrive, we'll only be short a fire element flier to be able to create a full, single-element combiner in every flavor. Gotta assume that they'll probably do a fire eagle, as Sky Report hasn't been repainted yet.

If Dragnus is RiD Megatron, Undead World Dragnus is RiD Galvatron I guess

It's more like convergent evolution (or "great minds think alike"), as the color white is associated with death, undead, reincarnation, etc. in Japan.

I just realized that Spinoescudo having both halves of his dino head on his shoulders is reminiscent of AOE Grimlock.

And here I was wondering why Prime Ratchet was a Dragon now.

May need to talk myself into Spinoescudo, but I am very intrigued by Legend Of The White Dragon over there.

It's funny that this thread got bumped when it did, as I recently just got myself a VPN that allows me to finally watch the Wild King W episodes, and so I just binge-watched all five episodes released thus far. And having just watched them, Spinoescudo is introduced at the end of Episode 5 and is the focus of Episode 6, in which he is shown to have super speed like the Flash, and bears some kind of grudge or malice towards Rexblade, as he introduces himself as "The one who will destroy you."

By this point, Rexblade is still somewhat amnesiac and has only regained a small portion of his memories, but Spinoescudo is all too familiar with him and is determined to kill him. He easily overpowers Rexblade and has the Energy Beast Cobaltwing as an ally. Along with a mysterious red Energy Beast, the three of them manage to capture three of Rexblade's Energy Beast allies: Silvertail, Lavamuleta, and Plant Hammer.

But before Spinoescudo can finish off the injured Rexblade, Gaia Knuckle (another one of Rexblade's allies) shields him with a wall of boulders. Once Spinoescudo clears away the obstruction, he finds that both Rexblade and Gaia Knuckle have escaped and disappeared. Elsewhere, Gaia Knuckle and Captain Volca carry away the injured Rexblade to safety while Lightlong ponders just who exactly Spinoescudo is and what his deal is.

And, despite the toy being revealed at the end of Episode 6, Undead Dragnus hasn't appeared or been mentioned in the show yet.

Extreme close ups of the box art shows the combination with Rexblade and World Dragnus. Very pixel-y, but you can make out the basic shapes. Spinoescudo and World Dragnus combine to make a centaur-like configuration, which is pretty rad.

Also, this may make the point where I stop being a completionist for this line. I can probably skip the repaint of Dragnus. I much prefer the purple and black original version, and since it doesn't come with any otherwise-unavailable energy beasts, I don't feel any real need to get this version.

Spinoescudo, though, that I have a mighty need for.
