Dark blue with silver spatter, resulting in "stars" in different sizes more like a snapshot of space than the usual stylized five point stars. (And maybe a yellow head crest in robot mode, which aside from evoking the beak is a nice splash of bright color there).

Although then it'd be Space Eagle. But wait, that's even cooler.

It's a little light on the red if you ask me. I added a splash of color View attachment 34438

Yeah, I was looking at it earlier and wondering why blue is the dominant color, when the flag has more red and white?

Anyone tried reversing the red and blue?

I started a digibash but I wasted my entire attention span trying to make ridiculous guns line up with the fist holes, but it didn't work and I got bored.

This biggest problem this has for me is it's just not exciting. That bird transformation wasn't particularly good in 1997 and it's not good now.

Honestlty, I think Hasbro should of used the mainline Airrazor figure from ROTB line instead of the Kingdom figure as that one looks more like a bird in bird mode, sure the wings are a bit chunky but that's because its the robot mode legs, but that's my view, I'm not intersted in this figure generally, but then I've not been intersted in most of the Primes in AOTP

Just copying what I said in the collaborative thread:

Normally, I'd be happy to support a Patriotic-themed Transformer on the 250th anniversary of the founding of the country. The fact that the anniversary happens to fall under THIS administration has made the concept far more problematic (for me, let alone anyone or anywhere else) than it really should have been.

(stolen joke)

if they really wanted to celebrate america's 250th they should have said 'hug it' and reissued g1 megatron. toy gun laws be damned.

Would they even get in trouble at this point?
Evan's mentioned in past livestreams (namely the one that revealed SS86 Megatron) that a "blaster" Megatron is something that they "can't" do, speaking as though it is something they are not allowed to make and/or sell.

He even specified that ROTF Skids and Mudflap are more doable than gun-mode Megatron, hinting not so subtly that they'd like to make Studio Series versions of the Twins, but emphasizing that it's all about "timing" when it comes to making new toys of those two.

They even asked Hasbro's lawyers if they could do gun Megatron as a HasLab, since it's direct to consumer and wouldn't be sold at stores. They still got told "no."

If it weren't for the heads I would have bought that toy and it would still be one of my favorite things. Give me more designs like that as any character. An ice cream truck, of all things. It's a mundane real world thing, but not a car. And they got two robots out of it, because Micromaster combiners were overdue for some love. Yes please.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

I mean: other than how badly they handled it; it's the personification of "robots in disguise".
