I was gonna say Wheeljack needed to be a leader to really nail the look as good as the first two, but if you can actually shove Bee in there, I'll take it.

Tidal Wave is.... a mixed bag?
It looks amazing honestly but a big part of my nostalgia for Tidal Wave is him becoming weapons and armour for Megatron. I don't know if these smaller pieces will hit that same spot for me.
As for Wheeljack... this feels like it should have happened in SiegeNot that the blocky 80s "whatever just draw it" design would have fit with the "battle hardened halfway to Earth modes" look but they specifically used MtMtE ep1 scene1 to describe what the inspiration for Siege was
He looks a bit too blocky but it's probably as close as they could get it at a retail price point and that blockiness will be more than forgiven if he can actually fit Origins Bumblebee in his back.
Also, yeah. Seige not being this was weird, but what can you do.
Part of me would prefer Wheeljack to have just been a Deluxe with an altmode Bee minifigure, but this is nice to have either way.

I like the new head and the weapon being a triple-barreled ancient Chinese hand cannon but I dunno, the mold's not that great and the remaining knight parts clash with the theme.
I'm still gonna be like first in line for this. This looks great.
Year of the Dragon Crimsonflame. He was revealed at the same toyshow and I believe was the silhouette on the first teaser for the event.

If he's reasonably available, like on Pulse or something, I'll go for it, but I wouldn't pay a huge premium for it.
It'll probably come out at the usual places like previous Chinese New Year releases. It's listed at Voyager price and also includes a flight stand.

I believe it is apart of Legacy, its just a exclusive of sorts, much like the selects line has been apart of WFC trilogy and Legacy!

I hope that the next attempt at on-screen Cybertronian modes takes a page from The War Within and at least tweaks the robot modes to make sense.
BB and Jazz are fine for what they tried to do (I'm on the fence re: Wheeljack), but they can do something else next time.

There's a special insane charm about the G1 Episode 1 characters that transform from Sci-Fi vehicles into robots that somehow already have Earth mode kibble that I absolutely love and can't believe we've actually gotten in real, plastic form, and I'm happily buying them.
But for a future series, yeah, I'd want the robots to look like they turn into whatever their Cybertronian modes are.
I mean, this is what some of us wanted exactly from Siege. And we only got more or less three: The Seeker mold, Optimus, and Soundwave. So now that we are getting these, I am happy. More so that Bumblebee might be able to fit somehow inside of Wheeljack. For Cybertronian molds that look like non-earth vehicles, we get that much more often between TWW designs and the WFC video game designs. Arguably the BB movie design as well.
