Sorry, I’m at work, and IT updated the firewalls. The biggest change has been they’ve been able to, effectively, “neuter Google”. And because Google has its greasy fingers all over, it has resulted in a slower browser response and, like, half the internet not working. Like the ads on this website! Though, I suppose I could have always used Bing…

I still believe in “attributing sources”, even if the sources are seemingly wrong or bull like this seems to be.
Shouldn't the original source should be used, which is the Paramount one? Also, if you need a different/better search engine, try this:

Well there would be three episodes left if season 2 was a 26 episode season.

Unless that last episode is like 44 or 88 minutes long or something.

That said, I'm pretty sure that even if Season 2 was scripted as a 26 episode season, they didn't complete more than 18, and they're mining the last few scripts to generate the season 4 (and potentially 5) specials.

Heck, back when Transformers was NEW, I was utterly confused as a kid as to what relation the comics had to the show. G1 wasn't even in continuity with G1. So the idea that everything is, is both nonsensical and perfectly logical at the same time. Let's talk about something less controversial...

So, I was thinking about Rumble and Frenzy's colors and how they and *insert character of choice here* should scale, and...

Earthspark is G1 now
We don't know that for sure. Just because Kodansha says so in the Transformers Archive Super Encyclopedia from two years ago doesn't mean the show itself says so too. We need to know what the Japanese dub of EarthSpark itself says on the matter (which has still only had the first season dubbed thus far, btw). Especially since the dub uses Hasbro names like "Optimus Prime", "Autobot", "Decepticon", etc. instead of JG1's traditional Japanese names like "Convoy", "Cybertron", "Destron", etc.

Remember when Takara initially marketed the Japanese dub of Animated as being a prequel to the 2007 movie? The dub itself ignored that.

There was even a timeline on Takara's website back in 2006/early 2007 that claimed the first Bay movie itself was part of JG1 set in 2007 between TFTM (2005) and G1 Season 3 (2010), but that was before the movie itself even first released, so someone at Takara was being very presumptuous.

So it looks like Earthspark is a branch alternate universe of G1 from what I can make out...the stories in these comics are weird. Makes sense that way though because Earthspark almost makes sense as a continuation of G1 after season 2:without the movie or season 3.

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

And frankly, it makes more sense than the original g1 timeline. Yeah, humans are going to let a war wage for 40 years without stepping in. Right.

I think that, just as the Japanese (cartoon?) G1 continuity is a fork if the main Western G1 cartoon one, then in that universe, they created another Japanese forked Earthspark continuity.
