By Solus' Hammer, you shall be avenged!
(I wonder if Solus and Grabthar shop at the same hammer store?)
Meanwhile, new players enter the game:
Lockdown wears the Man With No Name look well, you can just about imagine a Cy-gar dangling out of his mouth if this wasn't a kids line. Yes, it probably should have been Wildwheel, but there's not a lot of wheel to this figure.
Hammer and cylinder details really sell this as a revolver-like weapon.
The cape is asymmetrical, again, I think this helps sell the cowboy look. Wolf mode transformation is pretty much the same as Jazz and Cheetor.
"I've got a machine gun!?! In my butt?!?"
I know it's not a machine gun, but how often does a person get to use that quote? Anyway, the spur details on the back of the legs helps finish the cowboy look.
Megatron wears an altmode calling back to when he was a minor. Or miner? A miner minor?
Anyway, the venerable drill tank mode follows the same transformation as Optimus Primal, and the drill seems to be permanently attached. Purple armor bits can be attached to either mode or combined in various ways.
Ratchet sports a vtol or helicopter altmode, though the rotor and fan assembly is actually removable, with a different wing assembly on the back, it could almost approximate a seaplane. Blue armor bits include booster rockets and missile pods to kit out the helicopter mode.
I'll be interested to see if these figures make it into the show, and I'm curious to see what characterization they get (if any).
