So, regarding the supposed rumors of Walmart having cancelled the Cybertron capsule line and Sideways in particular, I think we can safely say that that isn't the case, because...

My Walmart had seven of them (six now, thanks to me).

IIRC, it was stated that the online pre-orders were cancelled becuase their system had made an error, which was people pre-ordering Sideways, were going to be getting 1 CASE of Sideways for each one the ordered.

Right, but, before we found that out, there were some undetermined whisperings and rumblings from the usual leak sources that Walmart might have possibly decided to cancel the capsule line outright beyond the few Excellions that made it out via the early preorders.

I feel like it's becoming more common; I got hit with it twice this year, once from Walmart and once from Amazon, plus that recent stuff with Sideways. (Which I didn't preorder from Walmart, so no trifecta for me).

Does anyone know if Superion/Menasor can hold CW Shockwave as a gun? I know the hands are different than Combiner Wars but I'm not sure HOW different? I know Legacy Core Shockwave had a gun mode too...I'm mostly just wondering about options.

Very different. There is no way the new fists can hold CW Shockwave. But the recent Core Class one can be held.

Thank you! Makes me wonder if a new Shockwave will come with a Combaticon-compatible MiniWave. I'm also considering CW Viper since they don't have a normal airplane in the mix this time.

I don't think I've seen a picture yet that has Superion's gun mounted properly -- not even from Hasbro, and they're the ones who've gone batslag insane over cartoon accuracy!

So, I had an unpleasant surprise this morning.

Months ago, when the preorders went up for Excellion and Sideways, I preordered with Hasbro Pulse. I put PayPal in as my payment method. Today, I get two e-mails from Hasbro Pulse claiming that payment couldn't be made and the orders would be cancelled. I called them up and immediately got that addressed, but still, this is the latest of several occasions where Pulse has had issue with one of my payment methods. And they aren't even consistent about which payment method!

I've gotten a similar message from them a few times, but haven't needed to actually change any payment info. Not sure why it happens. It's 2025, and everyone's confused!

They did the same thing with me for Vortex, though I wasn't sure why. Putting in the SAME payment info, it was taken just fine.

I was hoping they'd have Blastoff and Brawl up when I got their email but it was just the T-Spark and Missing Link stuff.

Yeah, but this time, I had to call them to make sure the orders weren't cancelled. No warnings, no advance notice, they just sent me e-mails saying "Hey, we can't charge you, we're cancelling the order." Drives me nuts.
