While it in no way excuses what Trump is doing, it doesn't really help the other side when their main argument is that crime in DC is at a historic low yet the DC has settled with a whistleblower that accused them of cooking the books.

tl;dr Attorneys have placed a lawsuit due to not being able to reach clients of theirs in the camp, as well as other restrictions, and additionally those in it are being pressured to "self-deport".
Bet all those armed forces folk on military bases outside the country will love this one. At least there's plenty of time for a lawsuit to block and deal with it before midterms.
So much for being the party of "state's rights". Constitution gives the states the bulk of authority over elections, not the president....

looks like Texas is illegally detaining at least one of the dems because they are refusing to be escorted by the DPS to make sure the dems dont run again.
But they got promises from a few other states to counteract it.
And what's the value of a politicians promise, even if it's well meaning?
It is pretty high if it is what they want.
