You may test that assumption at your convinience.

No, it's not. Not by a ******* long shot. However bad you thought, or assumed, it was going to get: multiply by 300%.

It will get bad to the point where trump will be openly flirting with starting an actual war, and most of the country will think "not a bad idea: it'll kick start the economy.". It'll get bad to the point where you're going to be standing in gas lines with dudes named "immortan joe" and "the toe cutter".

And an all encompasing blue wave in the midterms? Yeah, it won't be enough to remove trump, just stop him from making things worse. It'll also be a position where no one can even BEGIN to fix jive. If you get that big a blue wave.

He doesn't have the power to fire Powell due to the way things are set up and the fact that getting rid of him is against the moneyed interests wishes at this time.

FB friend:
When you hear Trump's goons talking about the undesirables "self-deporting", just remember that the OG Nazis created something called the Zentralstelle für jüdische Auswanderung (Central Office of Jewish Emigration). It was run by Adolf Eichmann, and its purpose was ostensibly to help Jews voluntarily leave Germany.
Why is so much of the Trump supporter's moral self-image bound up in self-righteous outrage over sexual issues? Whether it's transgendered people in bathrooms, transgendered people in sports, Project 2025's promise to outlaw pornography, or the absurd delusion that he could somehow expose Jeffrey Epstein's friends by voting for one of Jeffrey Epstein's closest friends, the Trump supporter's moral centre of gravity is lodged firmly in the crotch.

Perhaps it's a way of distracting himself from the fact that all of his other policies are utterly amoral, to the point that Christians openly reject their own Messiah: Trump supporters have been known to berate church ministers for quoting from the Beatitudes because they're too left-wing and compassionate. When your entire worldview is based on selfishness and hate, you need to cling to something in order to convince yourself you're not a bad person.
The sad thing about Trump calling the Epstein files a made-up Democratic conspiracy is that his base might actually believe it. Why not? They believe every other insane thing he says, and it doesn't take much to get them to believe in Democratic conspiracies.

However, the hilarious thing is that if they do believe it, and they know Trump has been pushing it for years, then they would have to suspect that Trump was in on this Democratic conspiracy.

Gee, who could possibly have had the unrestricted access to government databases in February and March to do this?

Yea, the amount of bending over to please Trump CBS/Paramount has done is insane. All to please the king so their merger won't be blocked... That said, I haven't watched more than a few clips of the Late Show in YEARS(same with all the late-night talk shows really)

Haven't CBS and Paramount been a single company in all but name this whole time anyway? And wasn't the fake split entirely voluntary? Why was there any friction toward them re-merging in the first place?

That’s not the merger being discussed, though I get the confusion. ;)

The big merger (actually, more of a purchase) being discussed is Paramount/CBS with Skydance Media. Skydance has been a MAJOR financier for the last several years, and Skydance’s founder/chairman, David Ellison, is looking to merge Skydance, Paramount Global, and Paramount controlling interest, National Amusements. The deal is valued in the neighborhood of $8 billion.

Ellison is also, reportedly, “amicable” to the Trump Administration, which has caused significant friction among the CBS News and more liberal segments within the company (like the South Park production team). Especially with Trump’s frivolous lawsuit still in process since last fall Over how a 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris was edited

Vice-president JD Vance poured scorn on the report, tweeting on Thursday: "Forgive my language but this story is complete and utter bullshit. The WSJ should be ashamed for publishing it. Where is this letter? Would you be shocked to learn they never showed it to us before publishing it? Does anyone honestly believe this sounds like Donald Trump?"
Yes. Yes we do.
