This feels like a big one.

Episode 13

The Micronauts quiz Biotron on his new skill. He seems to know random words but sentences not so much. Meanwhile Karza throws a Kylo Ren fit over losing Alpha Tron. Then he decides he needs to get a giant on his side. (No idea what he did to the Junkyard owner.)

Then...Flashback That Will Be The Whole Darn Episode:

Dr Karza presenting a world changing fuel cell to the High Council. It combines Micronium and something called Prototell to form a new super energy Microtell. They name him head of the Science Guild and offer him the title of Baron. He's super happy and hugs the Acroyear rep (who's an a$$hole). Then Henrick Pelham calls. They've got an SoS rescue mission. Karza happily accepts his new cape of office and runs off.

The Micronaut team Space Bridges in to their mission. It's Pel's Dad, Karza, Torro (the other Time Traveller from the ep where Xant and Quin go home), a female space glider and another lady with a real Evil-Lyn vibe. The place they appear has been destroyed. There are only 3 survivors, white-skinned and angular who report they were attacked by Pirates from Lobros. Henrick wants to take them to safety but Karza is concerned that helping them could put the Lobros target on Microsia. He feels helping "Aliens" is not worth endangering Microsia. Henrick overrules his friend.

Karza gets really pissy and leaves as soon as they get home. At his lab we see he's already almost finished Alpha Tron. He tries to charge up his armor with his new fuel cell and it malfunctions, overloading and blasting him back. In the aftermath it's sparking and glowing angry red instead of the cool blue Micronium usually is. Also Red Energy Tentacles are whipping from Karza's palm.

Henrick's team (sans Karza), and (sane) Quin attend a morning meeting. Their boss seems to be the same guy in charge of Phen's Space Glider Academy from that other episode.

In his lab Karza creates more Red Micronium and starts to enfuse his armor with it before Henrick arrives to check if he's ok. Karza is angry and "not himself" according to Henrick. He delivers a gift from the Aliens they saved. A (the) Ceremonial mask. This seems to calm Karza who likes the mask and says thank you when Henrick leaves.

Unfortunately he wakes a short time later to find the Aliens they rescued ransacking his lab looking for weapons to get revenge on the Lobros. They grab the fuel cell and Karza lashes out with his energy tentacles, taking over another mind for the first time. One of them throws a vial of acid in his face to complete the Two Face/Keldor Supervillian Origin. The refugees flee and Karza channels Jack Napier and decides to don the mask over his ruined face.

Karza goes to a stunned Henrick and refuses medical help. His Xenophobia and Paranoia is now off the charts. He sees all outsiders and aliens as coming for his power source and plans to demand the high council banish them all or he will make them see his way.

They of course dismiss him. Pel is concerned but Karza tells him to go to the morning meeting, call everyone in for it, and they'll discuss it then. But in the morning he doesn't show. Quintillus however has foreseen that if Torro goes on the next mission he will die, so she offers to take his place with Henrick's team. The team ditches the meeting to go after Karza without explaining to anyone (something that in retrospect was a bad idea). Karza calls to thank Henrick for keeping all the Micronauts tied up in the meeting while he sets bombs to blow up the Historical Building and frame the refugees, so that all Microsia will see Aliens and Outsiders should never be trusted.

The evil-ish lady on the team apparently named Sinnesy says they should get backup first, but Henrick says there's no time. As the rest of the team rushes off she hangs back and gets a really sly evil I'm Gonna Betray You Now look on her face before going the other way.

Quintillus arrives just as Karza and his new robots activate the bombs. They fight while the others start to take out the bombs. Gammatron accidentally detonates one. Karza almost takes out Henrick when their Space Glider lady shows up in the Space Cruiser and blasts the Bad Guy. They load the bombs and Karza's Microtell generator in the ship and Quintillus opens a space bridge for them to dump it all far away. She will bring them back when they have done so.

Just as they go the High Council forces arrive. They call the Micronauts traitors a for helping Karza (ignoring Quins explanations) and sentence them to "conviction without trial" (ouch topical) leading Quin away to life in prison.

Back in the Present Day Karza arrives at Arliss Dunne's house to form an alliance with him.

Developments:
1) Karza's Backstory
2) The Lobros are Crustacion Aliens from the original Micronauts toyline.
3) The High Council are more then jerks they come off as outright evil.
4) Xenophobia and Sentencing people to life in prison specifically without due process trial. Mmmm. This show was very sadly ahead of its time.
5) It is cute that Gammatron originally couldn't talk like Beta Tron and Karza thought that was annoying so purposefully gave it a voice. Ooops.

-ZacWilliam, that was a lot of story squeezed into one long flashback.

Episode 14:

Phen and Xant are fighting over who gets to train Biotron in speaking. Pel tells them to share the job.

The goal is to decode Biotrons broken speech and find Karza's base. They quickly settle on the Junkyard, but when they try to head out with Cam they discover his mom has made a huge brunch because she invited his crush Andy and her mom over without telling him. So the Micronauts head out without Cam.
They find Karza's refrigerator base but it's empty.

Meanwhile Karza is at Arliss's house interrupting him as he tries to watch My Little Pony: Frendship is Magic. (One with a train.) We learn Karza has named the Red Micronium "Dark Micronium" (shades of Transformers: Prime). He sends Arliss and Gammatron back to their old base to retrieve their Microsia tech,

Arliss is too weak to open the fridge. He breaks the handle. But he does manage to drag the whole thing into the back of his pickup. Unfortunately trapping the Micronauts inside.

Back at home Mom is telling Andy embarrassing stories. So they retreat to his room to look at tech. She's working on a solar cell and he has some ideas to help.

The Micronauts try to get the fridge to tip but thanks to Arliss's bad driving it falls out of the truck, rolls down a hill and lands in a lake. They're trapped in the wrecked base as it fills with water. Pellam uses his helmets air supply to swim the dizzy Phen free. The helmet is cracked and he can't get the others out the same way. Instead they weld the fridge shut to prevent it from flooding more. But before they can get it out Pel's helmet fails and he starts to drown. Biotron activates a new power Merging with Pellam to save him. (They are mind-melded and Pellam's body is now sitting in a control chair inside Biotron) Now Biotron speaks with Pellam's voice and together as one they rocket the fridge to shore. Biotron explains "Micro-melding" is like Ener-chance but between a Micronaut and Biotron. Biotron almost has full sentences down. From listening to Phen and Xant argue so much.

Arliss and Gammatron arrive and recover the Baron's microtech. Meanwhile Andy and Cam fix her solar cell. She wants to work with him more and gives him her number so they can meet up later in the week. Still he gets real nervous when she looks too close at his tech and she has a curious and slightly concerned look back at the room as they head downstairs.

Developments:
1) Andy is cemented as Cams friend, rather than just crush or acquaintance.
2) Karza and Arliss alliance cemented.
3) Arliss is a Brony cemented.
4) Biotron can speak normal by the end of the episode.
5) Micro-melding introduced. I can picture that big hollow Biotron toy with room for the other figures to sit inside and damn it I want it to exist.

Gear Combination:
1) Acroyear and Biotron Micro-meld.

-ZacWilliam, Phen shares some Micronaut curses at least one of which sounds really bad.

Um, which pony ep with a train? I remember a mystery ep where Rarity plays detective on a running train.

I don't think it's the mystery on a train one because that takes place mainly on a train. It's a few seconds of the train from the outside going through some hills and then arriving somewhere and then all the pony's together in that place.

-ZacWilliam, There's nothing to really identify it that pops out at me. But it's been a while since I watched FiM.

Episode 15:

Seems to pick up right after last ep. as the Micronauts explain Micro-melding to Cam. They all want to try it. Oberon gets to go first and crashes Biotron but his verdict is "It Rules."

Back on Microsia, Torro (the scared Time Traveler now Bounty Hunter from Pel's Dad's old team) turns in a Vessarian (Xants race) to a hulking red Lobros (Lobster guy) for the bounty. But it's a trap and Law Walkers (the police) surround him, arrest him, and drag him before Evil-Lyn (Sinnesy) and the rest of the huge dicks that are the High Council.

Despite knowning that Sinnesy sold out his team to get a spot on the council Torro makes a deal to clear himself and get a reward if he leads the council to Karza and Pel's team. The Council assigns him a "help" escort: two new prototype robots programmed with the skills of the greatest warriors of the past: Acroyear IIs (Acroyear IIs were a separate Micronauts toy from the regular Acroyear)

On Earth at Breakfast, Cam's Mom has a vision of Arliss's house and Karza. A side effect of him controlling her mind last ep. Cam decides to try and get info from her vision without making her suspicious.

Meanwhile Xant and Biotron meld into Bio-Xant but afterwords Biotron feels kinda sick. Then Quintillous accidently triggers a micro-meld and Biotron shorts out and freezes up trapping her inside. Just then Toro and the 2s arrive via Space Bridge and quickly take out the whole team. They all end up in energy cages as he asks the location of Quin and Karza. Torro is about to burn the house down when he hears Cam and Mom downstairs. He decides to torture them for info. Quin finally gets spit out. Turns out her powers are mystic and don't interface well with Bio's tech. No, micro-melding for her.

Quin battles the 2's and Toro solo and does really surprisingly well. She handles the 2s deftly and tries to get Quin to join them but he rejects Time Traveler code and refuses. He does get the upper hand but she has a vision and sics Cam's cat Ross on the 2's. He bats them out the window and gives chase. Meanwhile the vision has made Quin remember how to make Space Bridges. She takes Quins staff and makes two portals right across from each other (Anyone remember Soundwave's fate in TF: Prime) she throws Torro's staff in and when he reaches for it she pushes him in after it. He glows screams and explodes then the portals vanish. The Micronauts are free and Quin cheerfully explains she broke the rules of time and space and trapped Torro in a space loop for the rest of his life.

Biotron wakes up and needs a recharge. Cam peaks up and yells at them all to keep it down and then looks confused at the faces they give him.

Developments:
1) I think this might be the first time we see a Lobros.

2) Quin is kind of a bad ass. Soloing two super Acroyear robots and another Time Traveler and finishing him off fairly brutally. But she's so cheerful and goofy doing it that you kinda forget how brutal Torro's fate is.

3) And she can now make Space Bridges again.

Gear Combinations:
1) Micro-melding OB, Xant and Quin. We learn Magic like Quins disrupts the melding but also it seems like it's very power consumptive (hence the feeling sick after doing OB and Xant right in a row.)

-ZacWilliam, and that's a series wrap on Torro.

Episode 16:

Beta and Gammatron bring Karza a little piece of Micro Tech. He needs something bigger for his new plan. He wires Betatron into Arliss's metal detector to turn it into a micronium detector and they head out on a group expedition.

Meanwhile Pel isn't sleeping because he can't track Karza and is stuck reacting. OB jokingly asks if anyone has any Dark Micronium so they could track Karza and everyone is taken aback when Biotron raises his hand. Quick enough they have him plugged into a computer and a lock on Karza. Quin is invited, in particular, given her success kicking butt last ep. Cam however is given the day off as Karza would see him coming.

The micronauts arrive just after the baddies and have to save a young woman from being run down by a car due to Arliss accidentally removing a stop sign. Karza sees it happen and realizes their concern for humans is their weakness. Karza leads them to an Amusement Park. Arliss discovers microsource has been incorporated into the parks roller coaster track.

Meanwhile the Micronauts almost get trampled by a crowd. Pel and Phen make the mistake of hiding in a cotton candy maker. Oberon hides on one of those high drop rides. While Xant and Quin end up in wack-a-mole and he is almost killed by Mark. Lastly Biotron gets in a gun fight inside a carnival duck shooting game. (I've never seen a carnival game use actual bb guns in real life.)

Karza doesn't want to wait so Arliss improvises a plan to shut the coaster down so they can take the track. Karza says No. They are taking the track now. While the ride is running. With a bunch of kids on board. Arliss refuses to hurt, possibly kill, a bunch of kids. This is not what he signed up for. But Beta and Gamma have already started and when he tries to walk away Karza takes over his mind, making him a Red-eye Zombie.

The Micronauts see Arliss take the track. Pel orders the others to save the kids and he and OB go after Karza. Phen enerchanges her wings and Xants gauntlets to the Hoverbike and use it to Spider-man style stop the car just before it hits the gap. Biotron hangs an out of order sign.

Pel jumps Karza but the bad guy is ready and has Arliss smash him beneath his foot. OB finds his unconscious body and they rush him home to their med-bay. Broken bones, damaged glands, internal bleeding. Phen is furious with him for chasing Karza alone. Pel regains consciousness and makes a weak joke just as Cam returns home.

Developments:
1) Mostly we learn that Arliss may be skeezy but he's not on Karza's level of villainy. He's not up for killing, or even hurting, kids.
2) And the good guys now have away to be proactive and not just wait around for Karza schemes.

Gear Combinations:
1) Pen's Glider Wings and Xants gauntlets with the Cycle to super charge it.

-ZacWilliam, gotta have an "everyone visits an amusement park" episode. It's not quite the american equivalent of a "Hot Springs" anime ep but it's not too far off.

Episode 17:

The Micronauts are playing a kids game that seems to be a combo of hopscotch and frisbee golf. Quin doesn't remember it though she had told Xant she played as a child.

OB worries that they'll disturb the still recovering Pel. Who suddenly joins them with some nasty black bruises on his face. He says he's fine and they should strategize but he's sweating a lot and keeps getting everyone's names wrong. He then passes out on top of Xant.

Pel's got a fever and needs medicine. They have no Microsian medicine and no idea how to dose human Meds for a micronaut. OB says there's a medicinal flower from Microsia that might help. Cam says he's seen a flower that looks like it in the municipal garden so they're gonna try that. (Ok, there are so many problems with this setup. Quin can make portals again, she could go to Microsia for Meds or the Micro flower. The fact that an Earth flower looks somewhat like a Microsian one does not mean it would have the same medicinal properties and even if it did they would STILL have the same dosing issue as with Earth meds). But Pel is clearly hallucinating so they leave him with Quin and follow their nonsensical plan.

At the Garden OB wants to be in charge of the search since he's the highest ranked, but Quin points out that Glider Corp members are in charge of all recon missions. They end up splitting up and Cam runs into his jerk of a Vice Principal. At home Quin nurses a delirious Pel.

Soon weird robotic insects surround Phen and Bio. She calls them "hoopobugs" They swarm and electrocute the pair. In the nearby forest a micro-sized figure sits and talks to a robotic grasshopper. The hoopobugs swarm up before them and disgorge Phen and Bio. It's Miamar, the Space Glider from Pel's Dad's old team. But older and worn looking. She shuts down Bio and questions Phen.

Xant and and OB find the flower but realize they are completely lost. Cam can't help because he's engaged with the VP. A bunny rabbit arrives and terrifies them.

Miamar is babbling incoherently about being lost for so many years. She wants to salvage Biotron for parts to fix her cruiser. She doesn't understand Biotron is alive. She's only half rational, but explains that Karza's bombs went off when the Galactic Cruiser passed through the space bridge and Henrick ejected her pod and it crashed in the forest. The main ship went down in flames and she never saw Henrick again. The Flower they're looking for has kept her alive all this time. (Apparently it just IS the same one from Microsia, which raises questions)

Phen almost wins Miamar over with the promos of taking her to Quin but when M learns Karza is on Earth too she goes all paranoid and decides Phen is his agent. Maiamar admits she is crazy and pulls a gun on Phen. It turns into a glider dogfight. Phen wins but then the robotics swarm Miamar and she ener-changes them into a big suit of beetle themed armor. Bio is up again and Phen mico-melds with him, giving him big glider wings and they fight Armored M again. They win and the robobugs grab the unconscious M and pull her off into the forest just as Phen finally receives OBs distress call.

Despite the VPs constant barrage of unprofessional abuse Cam finds the flower. A Stargazer Lilly. Xant does an Apocalypse Now reference in horror at the Bunny but OB uses his glowing Brain as a distress beacon. Phen arrives to save them with Miamar's Shuttle Pod.

They give Pel the Medicine and he's apparently instantly fine. (Wow good medicine). They all express they need him back. They tell him about Miamar and that she told them Henrick is dead.

Developments:
1) Stargazer Lilly pollen saves Pel
2) We learn some more of Miamar and Henrick's fate although there are some timeline questions because Henrick's helmet was found with micro wreckage from 2000 years ago and that's a LONG time for Miamar to be kept alive by a flower. This episode doesn't seem to imply she's THAT old but I guess it could. Her being nuts would make sense.
3) So maybe there's some primordial connection between Earth and Microsia if they have the same flowers?
4) This might be the first ep with no Karza.

Gear Combinations
1) Miamar's robot bugs enerchange to become beetle armor. Wonder if she would have gotten a toy and how that armor would have worked.
2) Phen and Biotron micromelding gets him a big old Biotron size pair of Glider wings that I wonder if his toy would have come with.

-ZacWilliam, Henrick's squad is having a tough time of it: Henrick - Lost, Karza scared and evil, Torro - Disgraced and trapped in a time loop, Miamar - Crazy and lost in the woods, Sinnesy - Loki-ing it up on the council... yeah that last one tracks.

Episode 18:

A Very Micro-Christmas

The Micronauts battle Karza and his bots inside a decorated Christmas Tree in a tree lot while Cam distracts the attendant. Everyone collides over the on switch causing the tree to collapse. Karza exits laughing with a string of lights while the Micronauts remain tangled in the tree.

On the way home on his bike Cam tries to explain Christmas (and related holidays) to the Micros. Xant is intrigued. Quin nopes out, finding the concept of Santa horrifying. They run into Andy walking home. She mentions she has a present for him later, which as soon as she leaves sends Cam into a panic because he didn't buy her anything. The group detours to the Mall.

The Micronauts are excited by all the decorations. Xant goes with Cam to help shop and the others explore the Mall. Phen and OB follow his nose towards something tasty. Quin assures Pell all will be fine then has a vision of herself laughing maniacally in front of an open Space Bridge...

Phen and OB find a giant gingerbread house display and play Hansel and Gretel. Phen is enchanted by passing carolers, remembering holidays with her little brother. Apparently the hot toy this year is a RoboMoto and the stores are all sold out. Biotron noticed how familiar they are and goes to investigate. Unfortunately he's spotted by the crowds who think he IS a Robomoto. Quin steals a motorized Barbie car Gizmo-style and picks up Pel to rush to the rescue. Bio runs. The crowd chases him. Quin Races after the crowd, and Pel goes to get Cam for some help.

Cam and Xant are sampling perfume. Xant maces himself. Pel gets there to request help. They try to call in Phen and OB but he's stuck in the frosting of Gingerbread display. Quin tracks Biotron to Santa's Village where he continues to creep her out. "This is really dark people."

Biotron follows an off duty elf into the Santa's House back room. Inside are many RoboMoto boxes. Apparently the evil elf intercepted the last shipment of RoboMoto on the way to the toy store and is planing to scalp them to desperate parents for 4 times the price. Biotron decides they must be Omnitrix robots like himself and promises to free them.

Quin has a plan. She opens a Space Bridge atop Santa's Sled and laughing maniacally as in her vision summons a snow storm into the Mall. While everyone is distracted Pel and Phen fly down the chimney to find Biotron has freed an army of RoboMotos. They decide to use the toys as a decoy. With guidance from OB on coms they use the random stuff in the room to jury rig the Moto to fly, sending them bursting through the roof in a blast of light and flying through the Mall. This and Quin's snow storm provides cover for the Micronauts escape. The crowd chases the toys and the Micronauts escape but Cam is still present-less.

Back at home the Micronauts try to help by casting a metal bust of Andy. It looks a bit like Sloth from Goonies (Sean Astin voices Pel btw). Cam is covered though because hes already put together a gift bag of circuit boards and other electric Maker stuff for her. And Andy arrives at the door. They both had the same idea. The Great Minds that think alike share some Hot Coco. Quin is still terrified by Santa arriving, but Pel has learned the true meaning of Xmas.

Developments:
1) It's December 24th and snowy. Pell seems a lot better and given that the land was green and all the plants in the garden blooming just last episode I'm gonna posit a time skip between the two episodes.
2) The Christmas Tree battle reminds me of how I would hide Transformers in the tree and around the room as a kid to "scout" for new robots arriving by Space Bridge from Cybertron on December 25th.

Gear Combination:
1) Nothing Official but they somehow used a portable generator, some Christmas decorations and random junk to make a battalion of Action Figures fly, which is fairly impressive.

-ZacWilliam, wish they'd run into the Botbots at the Mall.

Episode 19:

This February! Teen Battlebots (Mecha-Mayhem)! Sponsored by Becktant Global! A stylish young business woman with white hair, purple lipstick and a slick future suit introduces herself as Zara Knowles CEO of Becktant and announces a paid internship for the winner of the robot battle contest. Andy has been showing this on her laptop to Cam as they sit on her bed. Then she swears him to secrecy and shows him her Grandma-themed Battlebot. He finds it impressive but wonders at the fuel source. She shows him. It's a shuttle pod from the Galactic Shuttle Henrick Pellam crashed on earth.

Apparently her dad found it at a rummage sale. He thought it would be good set dressing but she discovered it's indestructible and a powerful energy source. Back home later Cam is worried. He expects her to win the championship easily and then the bot (and pod) will go on display at Becktant and out of their reach. Cam doesn't like the idea of the Micronauts stealing the pod from Andy but the other options are telling her about the Micronauts, or Karza gets it, or Becktant gets it so he doesn't see a choice.

Pel, Phen and Xant sneak into her bedroom that night and steal the ship. Xant barely flies it out safely so the next morning OB pulls a drill sergeant and gives him flight lessons. Andy arrives upset and freaked out. Upset that the power source is gone and justifiably creeped out that someone snuck into her bedroom while she was sleeping. Cam clearly feels like crap about the whole thing. Cam promises to help her get Granny working and anything in his lab. She hugs him and Cam feels even more like crap.

In the backyard Xant is still terrible at flying the cruiser pod. "You call yourself a pilot?" "No! I have never in my life called myself that!" To motivate him Phen knocks down a thrumming active big ol beehive from the green leafy deciduous tree. (Wait... we just established it was early February??). Xant tries to evade them in the pod and then goes through the open window and crashes on the floor of Cam's Bedroom right behind him and Andy.

She finds the pod and is furious at him for steeling it. Cam can't explain and she's not in a mood for listening anyway. She tells him off and storms out. The Micronauts feel terrible about what happened. The best they can come up with now, since his friendship with Andy is already over, is he might as well enter the contest with Biotron and try to beat her and maybe then she wont care about the pod and at least Becktant wont get it.

At the contest Andy angrily tells Cam off again and punches him in the arm. Justified frankly. Biotron, featuring actual energy weapons, blazes his way through the competition. But Granny kicks butt too. Of course it comes down to Biotron vs Granny. Andy has secretly added scorpion legs. The fight is surprisingly even until Granny dashes up and knocks Bio's head clean off. It goes flying and his body collapses. Andy Wins!

Cam puts Bio together again. Cam apologizes to the Micros for underestimating Andy. After the ceremony Cam tries to talk Andy out of giving the mech to Becktant. She already has, but gives him the power source pod that she'd kept as a souvenir. Then she tells him off again with tears in her eyes. She had hoped he was going to apologize for stealing or at least congratulate her, but he keeps surprising her in the worst ways and she's done. She never wants to talk to him again.

The Micronauts overhear and realize that they've asked too much from Cam. They race down the empty school hallway and reveal themselves to Andy. Phen explains what was up with Cam, who arrives and asks if this is the good kind of surprise. Andy is mute with shock so Cam grabs the Nauts and her hand and rushes them off to somewhere they can talk in private.

Developments:

1) So February. That month where it's green and blooming outside and bees industriously go about there business. I would say maybe the shows animators just didn't have "winter" assets to work with but last episode everything was all snowy for Christmas... Shrug.

2) So Andy knows. Which is good, because we've already had two previous plots where Cam acts terrible, doesn't explain, and she forgives him for no good reason. I like that this one was portrayed as the absolute last straw, because from her pov she gave him a bunch of second chances and breaking into her room while she slept, stealing from her, and then lying was not something that I think they could overcome any other way than finally letting her in on things. Lets move on from these plots now.

-ZacWilliam, a second Karza free ep.

Episode 20,

A dorky enthusiastic nerd-man named Kirby Duncan has bought a new smart phone. As he walks down the street raving about it something whips out of the sewer drain and electrocutes him, causing him to drop it. When he reaches down to see if he can recover it the sewer glows green and something snarls at him. Kirby runs off screaming about alligators and a silhouette that looks vaguely like Zorak from Space Ghost watches him go.

Back at the Ruck home OB is unhappy with their decision to let Andy know about them. Xant is also unsure it's wise. Cams mom has work and gives him chores, including dealing with the gross litterbox, before she gets back. Just as she leaves Andy arrives eager to see the Micronauts again. After some discussion Andy offers to prove herself to OB and Xant by getting Arliss Donne to open his front door so the Micros can slip a camera drone inside. Cam pawns his chores off on Xant who thinks he's getting out of combat and the rest head off to help Andy.

Xant suffers at the litterbox. His solution is he tries to use his diplomatic skills to teach Ross to use the toilet. Instead he falls in and Ross flushes him down into the sewers. Xant passes out. He wakes up in a cage and finds his gauntlets are busted. A raspy growling voice questions him from the darkness as scores of glowing eyes surround him. One steps forward. It's a hulking lizard person with robotic bat-like wings who announces them as Reptos. (The Reptos were part of the Alien villain subline of Micronauts toys along with the Antrons (who Xant is based on) and the Lobros (Lobster Aliens) we've seen before.)

His name is Vos. King of the sewers. He calls the above the "Bright World" and thinks Xant is an invader. He says the Reptos chased their enemies the Micronauts to this planet but lost them here and have been hiding in the sewers ever since. Xant pretends to also hate Micronauts to befriend Vos.

Meanwhile Andy knocks on Arliss's door and keeps him there by pretending to have a way for him to get some free money. Unfortunately the Drone's motor shorts out and against everyone's wishes she bluffs her way into the house. Karza watches her from the shadows.

Vos shows Xant around the Sewer base he built from the crashed Repto Space Ship. Xant tries to go but Vos stops him. Vos admits he's been playing monster, to scare away humans... and to steal their phones which he's combined with Christmas lights to make an incubator for a clutch of 7 Repto eggs. He(?) hopes to breed enough Reptos to invade the surface at night and find the Micronauts. Xant admits he's lied and he's a micronaut. He offers to help Vos go home but Vos attacks with ninja stars fired from his gauntlets and an electrified whip.

On the surface Karza gets impatient with Arliss' guest and the Micronauts lose contact with Andy. They are about to rush to her rescue when she comes out. She hid the drone and got away. OB welcomes her to the team. Cam hugs her because he was really worried. She hugs him back.

Xant thinks he's escaped but ends up back at Vos's base. Vos has the upper hand until his whip recharges Xants gauntlets. He blasts the ceiling and floods the sewers with light. It's revealed that all the other Reptos were fakes, Christmas lights for eyes and hidden speakers. Vos is all alone on Earth except for the eggs. Xant shows mercy and promises he's a friend and the other Micronauts will be too. Vos finally believes him and will show him the way home.

Developments:
1) Andy officially joins the team.
2) Vos presents as a male (calls himself King) but also is the only Repto on the planet and has a clutch of 7 eggs with visible baby reptos inside. There are a lot of possible explanations for this but the show does not attempt to give us one.

ZacWilliam, Vos is Dee Bradley Baker of Clone Wars fame.

Episode 21:

Cam's mom heads into work on the weekend again. OB has got the Spy Camera drone working but all there is to watch is the baddies watching daytime TV. Cam realizes his mom has forgotten her phone and he decides to return it to her at Becktant Global. Everyone wants to go besides Quin and Biotron.

Before Cam can even get by the lobby the Microsource detector goes nuts in his bag, stronger than it ever has before. Luckily the receptionist has called Cam's Mom down and he begs her for a tour. She's got a BIG office where Cam leaves his Bag with the Nauts.

Meanwhile Karza is berating Arliss for not following his orders well and notices the Camera Drone. Arliss thinks it's the Government. But Karza remembers Andy though and destroys the drone. Biotron is worried and wakes the dozing Quin. He tries to let the team know but can't get a signal into Becktant.

Cams Mom explains that Becktant is shielded against all electromagnetic signals to prevent hacking so her job is to coordinate and report all the scientists results manually. They meet the unfriendly pointy-faced scientist Dr. Clive Keeler. He's studying a microwave sized box that looks like a loot crate from a video game. It starts glowing and sparking with blue energy when Cam gets near, surprising everyone. The Micronauts recognize it as a giant Microsource while all the humans in the room just gasp in surprise. Clive decides Zara Knowles must see it right away. The Micronauts try to follow him but accidentally get into shenanigans and Xant ends up getting photocopied. They disintegrate the copies and head after the signal.

Arliss finds the pic of Andrea Miles winning the Mecha Mayhem competition on the front page of the local paper. Now that they have a name Karza wants an address.

Clive reports to Zara. Saying the energy was similar to the other relics they've found. Clive reports that the only thing new near it was Cam. Phen goes back to warn him. The other micros try to open the box.

Phen gets there about one second before Knowles. Zara flatters Biotron from the contest and takes Can to her office to talk. The Micros in the office have had no luck except causing an explosion knocking them and the box to the floor. Cam tries to stall Zara but when that fails he pretends to faint to give the Micros time to escape. Unfortunately Pel's sword is stuck in the box. They enerchange to free it and then run.

Cam's mom runs in, sees him fainted, and decided he needs to go home. Clive and Zara are suspicious of the box laying across the room and watch the Mother and son go.

Andy works in her dark bedroom when she gets a spooky vibe and Karza Zombies her. He figures she'll make a much better tech slave than Arliss. He orders her to come to him tomorrow and leaves. The red eyes fade and she is none the wiser.

Developments:

1) Quin implies it's been only a few weeks since Pel's injuries.

2) Oberon's middle name is Jane. But it's pronounced Jay-nah (It was his grandfathers name).

3) Confirmation Becktant is collecting and experimenting with Microtech

4) Andy is under Karza's spell.

Gear Combination:
1) Pel's sword, Xants Gauntlets, and Pel's rotors to rocket the mysterious box across the room and free the sword.

Episode 22:

All the Micronauts battle a Borg-ified teddy bear. Cam and Pel enter and the Acroyear rushes to attack but Xant stops him. They were playing a game. Cam is a little put out to have his childhood teddy Mr Brownington outfitted for assimilation. Pel decides they all depend on their tech too much. The others challenge him back. So he promises to go the day without using his sword or tech.

Andy has some new tech finished so Cam, OB and Bio head to her house. The remainder notice a dog chasing Ross up a tree in the backyard and decide it's a perfect test for tech-less Pel.

Andy has invented a sonic pet tracker that leads lost pets home. She says she doesn't remember doing the blueprints, they were just there in her handwriting one morning. She thinks she might be sleep inventing. Everybody else immediately suspects Karza. The tech is just too advanced for an Earthling.

Cam's mom is attempting Chicken Cordon Blu. Suddenly a friend of hers is at the door, saying she's been unexpectedly called in to work and pawning off a toddler girl, Zoe. The friend ignores Mom's objections and leaves the kid behind.

Pel is doing poorly with the dog until he accidentally discovers fetch. Inside the toddler is crying and inconsolable till Mom gives her the de-Borgified teddy bear, not noticing Pel's sword still stuck in it. Now the Micronauts need to retrieve the sword without tech.

OB confirms the blueprints feature Microsia tech. Andy doesn't believe it. They tell her about Karza's mind control but Cam and Andy joke and dismiss the possibility since she doesn't seem to have any symptoms.

The Micronauts don't have much luck retrieving the sword, Pel caught, Phen slobbered on, Xant making Zoe cry. Until Xant singing Vessarian opera finally calms her down and they sing her to sleep. Pel retrieves the sword.

Andy and Cam continue to tease OB about Karza. They test out the devices. They work fine and OB apologizes. Latter that night Andy has a Karza vision and realizes OB was right after all but before she takes more then two steps from her desk Karza Red-eyes her again.

Developments:

1) Andy continues to unknowingly work for Karza.

2) Julia's friend is really kinda a bad one dropping off a toddler and running with no notice.

Gear Combination:
1) No tech means no Enerchange.
