I can remember $12 Deluxes at Wal-Mart as late as Universe/Classics 2.0. Those were the days...
But where's the fifth member of the Ginyu Force?
I miss when anything was like $9.97 at Walmart.

That Deluxe price held for a surprisingly long time.. I still remember when it was finally raised to $11.99 around the start of RotF and Walmart immediately put them on sale back down to $10 to keep that attractive price tag for a while longer.
...and of course the fact that Hasbro had the unmitigated gall to charge $12 for a Deluxe.
That only happened in the states. In every other country on earth: the price rose slowly over the years just like everything else did. Hell, even during beast wars, I was paying more than 20 bucks for a deluxe, but at the beginning, it was pushed over the line by taxes.
We just need an all red one for a Seeker Sentai team. Maybe a pink one too.
You know, if they really want to make some more seekers, then I have a suggestion!

I am always in favor of Hasbro adopting the crazy modified designs from the lawless days of 80's knockoffs. What's the worst that could happen? I doubt that Four Stars Toys is going to sue.
I mean, they might. And it would be hilarious as four stars toys lawyers keep forgetting which side of the argument they were on, and why. Might be enough to get me to watch a trial!

I just saw on Facebook (but now cannot locate it again) a video from Evan showing off the Seeker 4 pack and giving some details. It is Transformers first Made to Order deal, with preorders going live today and going through late August (didn't catch the exact date). However many orders they get, they will make. No extras. He specifically said that this is NOT replacing a Haslab, and that an announcement on that will be coming at some later date.

What an interesting idea for something like this. I would NOT want to see this business model for general release type items, but for something like this that will only appeal to a certain group, it's not a bad idea. Plus, $37.50 is a decent price for a Voyager these days.

Agreed. On one hand, it's nice to have a month to think about the preorder without fear of it selling out an hour after going live, but I do always like the option of buying something at retail later if I don't preorder, or even possibly picking it up MUCH later on clearance if I can't quite justify it at full price.
Not a bad deal, but weird that they are only making x amount. I wonder if that means that plus whatever the online store order.
Yeah, $150 is still well out of practicality for my situation, but it's certainly better than feared.
