I'm not one of those people who are down on Newer Trek. I really like Strange New Worlds and LOVE Lower Deck and Prodigy. (Truth be told I havnt watched Discovery or Picard.)

That said I was disappointed by just how little that trailer did for me. I want to be excited by this show but nothing in that trailer looked particularly fun or exciting or nerdishly cool.

You should really watch Picard. Season 3 is the best Trek since DS9 ended.

I'm not watching the trailer. When is it coming out?

Does the show trailer feel like it's Discovery ish? Or more SNW? Or a whole nee show all together?

Btw, how old was Boimler in S1 of Lower Decks? He's the youngest of the Cerritos five, right?

The way the SFA trailer focused on that one kid makes me feel like it's going to be more Discovery-ish in focusing primarily through one character, rather than an ensemble show. For my part I'm just whelmed. Need more of a feel for what the show is actually going to be like than this gives before I'd be willing to invest attention in it.
