Curious if there whole line will be grey/black, or if it just happens that the first two figures are based on characters that were coincidentally black (Bayverse Ironhide) or grey (Blackout)

Properly transformed picture from the Apology Tour reel: Low res, but you can see how the chest is supposed to look

That's a pretty cool looking Optimus. These designs have a very "Transformers / G.I. Joe" feel to them even though they don't turn into specifically G.I. Joe vehicles.

The picture of the cord coming out of the Matrix really just strikes me as a funny image. Like, it makes me imagine Optimus coming into Autobot HQ and finding Hot Rod using it to charge his phone.

They've also custom engineered the Matrix with a special sensor/locking system so that it won't open if you're Ultra Magnus.

It DOES play The Touch! I'm trying to stay strong. I've told myself that I don't need another Matrix, but this one is <zoolander> really really good looking </zoolander> TRANSFORMERS STUDIO SERIES THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE THE MATRIX OF LEADERSHIP (HASBRO | Ages 14 & up | Approx. Retail...

Dammit, you stole my joke. I was going to ask if it was "Shrek" and "Law and Order" or if it was "Shrek and Law and Order", because that second one I could get behind.

Including a remold into Nancy!

Dang, that's a beautiful Matrix. I have that Halloween costume accessory one that came out a couple of years ago as well as the TF:One Matrix that I found cheap at Ross. As much as this one is very much an improvement on those, I don't know that I $125 need a third Matrix.

From Nune at TFW2005, we have our first look at Wave 2 of Studio Series '86 figures. Featured in this wave are: Kranix, the Lithonian who famously slipped away from Unicron only to be devoured by Sharkticons on Quintessa: He converts from Lithonian Scientist to the spaceship mode previously...

Does Astrotrain's train mode have a working wheel linkage system? Kind of looks like it does.

That Kranix! That's one of my "never going to happen in a million years" wants. Known about him for a while, but still exciting to finally see it.

That IS very cool! But I meant incorporating them into modern main-line Transformers. As much as I really do love those new Diaclone toys from afar, they're too expensive for me to dip into.

Agreed. My concern is 100% on getting a good PMOP. If they want to do a Weaponizer Apex Bomber at some point that adds to him, great, but I don't want Optimus compromised to make room for him.

I'd love to see some of those old Diaclone-only designs revisited in the modern era.

Multiple new listings from Amazon Japan have revealed official pictures of multiple upcoming releases. First of all is The King! Anime-style Missing Link Grimlock in glorious cartoon colors: Next up is Transformers Overgear Ironhide and Blackout. This is our first good look at the...

My ideal Powermaster Prime would likely be a Commander class. Voyager-ish "standard" mode with a big-ol' trailer that turns into his armor and a really crappy base.

A new contender for "most beautiful phrase in the English language" has appeared.
