This one is clearly for the kids, which is fine as Monster Trucks really haven't been too much on my radar anyways. I can definitely see there being an audience for these, and that audience is going to put these through the wringer at playtime, so it makes sense that they're pretty basic.
Every time we got a new kitten as a kid, I always looked forward to it's first experience with the big full-length mirror we had. They quickly learn to ignore the reflection, but that first time is always a lot of fun.
I still suspect that Hasbro wanted to do Cyberworld and Takara wanted to do Wild King, and both are avoiding carrying the other so as not to dilute their market. Maybe at some point in the future, they'll each bring over the other's kid-focused line.
I do love the idea of Harry Mudd. A human raised in the post-scarcity paradise of the Federation that rejects all of that and flies out into the wilds of the galaxy to make it on their own, full of all the negative qualities of humans that you rarely see in the "best and brightest" that make up...
Beautiful shots! Can't wait to get mine. I love it when when we get Transformers that are specific vehicle types while also being incredibly mundane. Pizza delivery van. Radio station mobile unit. Those are just great. We need more of those.

My Stranger Things Freakwency is supposed to arrive on Thursday. Been looking forward to this one for a long time. Hard to say until I have it in-hand, but it just looks like it's a damn good Transformer.

If they didn't want to go whole-hog on the Joe compatibility, they could always come with some miniature figures. Megabloks Joe figures are nice and articulated and already scale nicely with most traditional TF's. I know that those are Mattel instead of Hasbro, so it doesn't have to be those...
Now I want to see UFC do a "Chess Match" where they make a fighter battle against a footsoldier, a horse, a bishop, and a royal couple inside of a castle.
