I always figured Shipwreck would get along better with Seaspray. Shows what I know.

That did surprise me, too. If you're gonna go that hard with an obscure reference, you gotta go 100%.

The unreleased cereal box set has got me. There's no way I can refuse a cut so deep.

Would love for that to be the case

I'm trying my best not to want Jem Blaster. I have no particularly strong attachment to Jem. But it is making it very difficult.

I've got about 12 emergencies going on this afternoon, but I had to stop by and mention how crazy excited I am about the cereal box. To quote myself from just a couple of months ago: Now I have to make good on that promise.

Ah! I don't follow the comics so I was not aware. Well, good for him. Bulkhead has been one of my favorite characters to be added to the roster of "usual players," so happy to see him get some more face time.

Behind every bad guy is also a bad guy.

Real Bulkheads have curves

I'm pretty sure that they consider Legacy Bulkhead "close enough" to not need to do an Animated Bulkhead, but I wish they would. He deserves a round stumpy-legged toy. The original Animated Voyager was such a good toy, but needed to be larger. I never had the Leader version, so I don't know...

He's the biggest departure from the Animated version of the recent releases. He fits in OK, but I personally keep my Legacy Bulkhead on my G1 shelf as a theoretical G1 version of the character with original Animated Bulkhead on my Animated shelf with a mix of original and Legacy-era figures (I...

REALLY hoping for a good dual-rotor helicopter Animated Megatron sometime down the road.

I did not realize this and am now very happy as those two were on my list to buy anyway.

Been too busy to get any good photos, but I did get my Freakwency. I would absolutely call this the best van-former we've ever had, and is high in the running for best figure of the year. It looks amazing in both vehicle and robot mode, has a bizarre and unique (in a good way) weapon, and...

I saw him on the shelf on Saturday, but left him there. My Siege Shockwave is good enough for now. Maybe someday they'll do a brand new mold that is better enough to make me buy a replacement, but this one isn't quite there. Nice! Did you find that Scourge in the wild? That and Spino-wave...

It SOUNDS good, but once you've paid the taxes, you go home with maybe 0.6 internet. 0.7 if you're lucky.

So what you're saying is, that in the end, it doesn't even matter.

Pretty much, yeah. In fact, they could use Rumble/Frenzy and Laserbeak/Buzzsaw as-is. Ravage could use another pass.

I've been going trough Amazon Japan, and as long as you order everything you want in one big order, the shipping isn't terrible. If you order items individually, then yeah, they really stick it to you.

I hadn't considered the possibility of fully posable G1 Cassettes. That would be extremely hard for me to pass by.
