The Daphne head looks ao little like Daphne but so much like a generic Transformer head that I think it would be the one I would use if I were to buy this
Ouch! I had really hoped to go probably all-in on this wave. Hurricane was the only one of this group that I had as a kid, but it was one of my favorite toys, so I wanted a nice minty-fresh one and to experience the other 3 for the first time. Given those prices, though, I may have to be more...
That is my main complaint, too. If you're gonna make the head detach, then you can make it as large as you need to to make it look good. These are all just a bit smaller than they really need to be. BUT! They all appear to be standard Titan Master attachment points, so that adds a lot of...
From frequent leaker, TFW2005's Nune comes our first look at Mysterious Prime and Automutt, the Transformers / Scooby Doo collaboration. Mysterious Prime transformers from the Mystery Machine to robot mode with choice of head and neckwear inspired by the four meddling teens Fred, Daphne, Velma...
I did get HA Skids, never found Mudflap. Skids was actually a really good toy. The head was hideous, so I always planned to replace it with a different one, bit never did get around to it.
That's what I've discovered works well. The swiveling connector has to be lined up to collapse into the wheel, so when you DON'T want it to collapse, just making sure it's rotated a few degrees prevents it.
He would definitely benefit from some ratchets in the main joints, but overall I think...
Finally got a chance to play with him last night. I do see what you (PrimalxConvoy) were saying about the arms. Since the shoulders are his wheels, they rotate freely other than the 1 spot where they can lock in. You can use the locking panel is other positions as a friction brake to various...
As a kid, I never was into GI Joe and, as much as I did like Star Wars, somehow never ended up with many of the toys. What I did have (other than Transformers/Gobots) was M.A.S.K., Dinoriders, and Bone Age, all of which were at that Kenner 3" scale, so that will always be what I consider the...
I ended up paying for Frndly TV. It gives me access to both regular MeTV and MeTV toons. The biggest benefit is that it has built-in recording, so we set it to record the entire series of Svengoolie. I live close enough to Chicago to get MeTV over the air, but not always with a great signal...
Just got back home last night after being in Ireland for a bit over a week. My package of new Wildking figures was waiting for me, but I haven't had a chance to open it yet. Very much looking forward to messing around with them this weekend!
I've been enjoying the new M.A.S.K. toys, but I definitely wondered how long a lifespan something like this had. It would have been nice to see these toys on the shelf at Target next to similar retro re-releases of old Heman and Ninja Turtles, with that volume of sales helping to bring prices...
