Unfortunately, the EarthSpark combiner 2-packs themselves seemingly weren't very successful, as they shelf-warmed for months on end until finally being clearanced out.
Uh, Hasbro may not own the distribution rights to the cartoon, but they can still make toys based on it, and have made several in the years since.
