New Resident Evil comes out in a week. That kind of snuck up on me. I like Leon but I'm starting to suspect that due to him being the assigned combat protagonist means that the game will be deficient in boulder punching.
I really wouldn't pay the after-market prices for the toy Reflector set. The giant REFRAKTOR tampo is so tacky and I dunno, I don't mind the mismatched colors when they all had different robot modes but the same design in three different colors triggers something in me.
I’ve always been a toon-toy fusion kind of person. When the MP line stopped doing that and went full Sunbow, I stopped. I want some detail on my G1 figures, just not too much. I think the CommanderStudio Series Optimus is about as clean as I’d want my figures, albeit I’d prefer more paint detailing.
While I wouldn't want to see it replace all the sportscars and pickups, I think a Cybertruck wouldn't be too bad. It's not pretty but if you slap some Tron lines on it, it could pass for a RID 2015 altmode.
I liked that small time period in Reveal the Shield/Gold Box where they had to avoid blowing what faction each character was, so we got unique monickers like Special Ops Jazz, Turbo Tracks etc. instead of the boring Autobot Whoever.
I just want them to use modern altmodes again. The 80's transformers series used contemporary sportscars and military vehicles of that era, stuff you could conceivably see on the road or the news. In contrast, Generations/SS86 use vehicles that'll be drawing pensions pretty soon.
Maybe once...
I don't think it's a bad triple changer at all. It's just a kind of a sidegrade compared to the Siege Astrotrain and especially the DCS one, choosing between what mode you prefer and the stege vs the lankiness.
It's hilarious looking back at that time period where just after the period that they made too many Voyager tanks, there were so few that they had to choose a skeletal, bird-footed samurai with no ranged weaponry to represent G2 Megatron.
I just hate that the mold destroys itself in like three...
It’s a chintzy, tacky piece of plastic the cheapest Hasbro can sell, not even produced in the United States, made to try and grab a few sales from normies because of an anniversary with a nice number. It would have been made regardless of who is in office. Jeez.
I’d personally remove the sky blue altogether in favor of more dark blue. The flag has three colors and adding another messes with the motif. I’ll allow the yellow beak and the gray.
Those movies sort of relied on the audience already knowing what Godzilla is about. They were more about the humans anyway.
i just don’t much enjoy the godzilla design. While I don’t like how straight up dinosaur Millennium Godzilla is, I respect how it’s a conscious choice to do so as...
I mean, I’m probably buying it too but I was conditioned to expect John Yakuza after all the Sega character listings.
i don’t particularly like his opposing Godzilla though.
I saw a listing for Hiya Toys Kiryu after a bunch of Persona figures. It’s more of a me problem but Iwas really disappointed to see that it was the Mechagodzilla.
