I think the way they handled Nexus Prime is not helped at all by their new frame combiner standard. If he released as a Voyager during the combiner Wars or Power of the Primes era of combiner, at least he could form a new torso by himself. Now he not only has to jack somebody’s combiner buddies...

I didn’t get 86 Devastator because the combined mode is just UW Devastator again. If they'd figured out some way to give him a less bloated torso or a bigger head, I'd probably have pulled the trigger. It's especially disappointing given they don't have the excuse of the frameless combination...

ABS is more durable, flexible and temperature-resistant. Plus, unlike 3D print material or resin, you can get it in practically any color. The downside is that you need to make steel molds to mass produce that stuff and those are expensive. Larger molds with more parts aren’t significantly more...

I just find that too much of the kit is dedicated to bits and bobs to stick Optimus’ super mode parts onto Omega Prime and don’t do anything else. Rest is the usual articulated hands and the Magnus gap fillers, but if you’re displaying Magnus...

I just thought that the wings being so wide, flat and spread out made Nova’s wings look more like a turkey’s tail than angel wings.

It's a bit silly and messes up Magnus' proportions but at least it's a fairly benign optional piece. The rest of the set is just kind of useless garbage to cram Optimus' trailer on Omega Prime

I'm not buying that unless it also adds height boosters for Side Burn and articulated fins plus an unnecessary new head for Sky-Byte
