I didn't expect this, I thought it wasn't till Fall.
While it's not remotely 'accurate' I plan to put the Origins Autobots with this Prime and Magnus. I had to thin out a lot so I don't have any RID left except Gigatron, but rather than go crazy trying to make things 'match', I think I will...
It doesn't work GREAT (shoulders are too loose) but I saw something on TFWiki on Deathsaurus being able to hold his weapons in Chicken mode, so I tried it, and now I have Murder Chicken Level 2...
"Have you ever heard the legend of Primus Prime the Primey? A Prime so Primeful, he could even stop those he Primed...from Priming..."
"Alpha Trion, it's time for your meds!"
In that case I'd love to see an odd King Toots where you can somehow fit a (small, probably about half used up) roll of toilet paper inside it to dispense.
I thought it already did, that Manju Netsuke Optimus Prime one. 660000 yen/ $4532. I admit I didn't preorder it...though I still regret that the gold chrome toilet paper Botbot never made it out, that should have been the prize for surviving 2020.
My own active acquisitions are largely done now, since my nephew is getting his own. But if something REALLY nice comes up I am open to it, like Liokaiser or the Origins trio I grabbed when they came out.
I've never been clear on the boat thing. Once I get past the step where the infomercial guy saws the boat in half and tapes it back in place, I get lost...
I do look forwards to the stand, thanks to HasLab I have TWO places my Transformers can say "Go", a deathcoatrack will help so they don't...
None chucks...?
Hold up, you mean my dumb sarcasm posts a few pages back were RIGHT....?!
...I'm scared now...
I'm also picturing Liokaiser tugging hard on his whatever-they-are, which are stuck to a very large fridge, asking who in their right mind decided to make them magnetic ANYWAY...
In anticipation of getting chucks, here is a celebratory comic of Chuck anticipating getting chucked.
It's from the never-released compilation, "You're doomed, Charlie Brown."
I thought it was especially funny given the vehicle/beast mixes in the same year RID Omega is coming out. Now we just need a Beast Machines homage to throw into the mix.
Having finally looked it up, I still wonder if the Thundercats Heman is actually INTENDED to be a homage to 200x version King Grayskull. It certainly could pass as a workable version for anyone who was unable to get the crowdfund Eternia exclusive one.
I am glad they left the Sword of Plundarr...
That raises even MORE questions. Like how many quartrex to a quartex, how many quartex to the gallon, how many gallons per Shanix, and how many cortexes to do these conversion factors?!
Geeze...how many Galactic Credits would you have to pay people to just use rational units of measure, like...
And re: Netflix, if someone couldn't get the Eternia crowdfund exclusive King Grayskull from Revelations, it wouldn't be hard to repurpose that Thundercats He-Man as a variation on the prior 2000s series one. It looks really close, unless I'm just misremembering.
I suppose the big question is, will this new set have anything on the box that helps us with unit conversion? Because it's been four decades and I'm still not sure how many Cortex to the Vorn, or Vorn to pounds sterling, or how the Canadian Dollar factors in any of this.
