Only accessory Tankor needs is detachable legs so we can stick him onto the included half-a-Rhinox

I bought their ninja Insecticons, Bruticus upgrade and their OC Steelcore. Ended up keeping only Steelcore. Got to handle a few other of their toys in one way or another. Everything they made until the bitter end had the same weird aesthetic that never sat well with even the blockiest of...

Tankor's not that complex. Maybe that'll let them divert some budget to mass.

Looking like he’s made of Lego is a big demerit. And outside of that he has breakage issues IIRC

I like how this discussion presupposes that there ‘s somehow a way that the toy could be made that would result in no dumb nitpick comments. This is the internet.

It's a retool of the Legacy mold to give it the anime lion face.

Mayhem Transformers Discussion: Reheated Leftover POTPie

I think Prime nailed it. The liquid metal look avoided the uncanny valley but isn't the movieverse's zillion tiny moving greebles. Sculpted lips would probably look like a ventriloquist dummy if not in 2D animation.

He could be there. Hard to tell with his stature really. You'd have to really zoom in to see him. Maybe get Perceptor to help out.

It looks like if Prime veered closer to G1, not great, not too bad IMO. Then they decided to have weirdass lips and gigantic ugly stick of butter noses bolted onto everybody. As for the movie I’m not convinced it’s as great as the early views are saying because nobody who gets invited to early...

While legal issues could contribute to it, I’d wager that another factor to the squareness is a future Cliffjumper retool.

Mayhems tangled mess of controler cords

I bought a Megaman X artbook online from Japan and it arrived a couple days ago. I opened it up and half of it’s the handful of female characters they have with a few OCs and with various extra costumes like kimono, swimsuit etc. That’s when it dawned on me. I bought an artbook for a goddamn...

Next year's is Silverbolt and then if the pattern holds, they'd want a bad guy after that or if not, to finish Nexus Prime.

It’s ironic how the T30 Skids mold has gigantic clown shoe feet and the biggest problem is that it has poor balance.

Still have my CW Magnus but he doesn’t see display any more. Neat transformation but build quality’s not great and my opinion on that era of fiction’s cooled since then. Most noticeably, his foot design is an active detriment to posing. He doesn’t have ankle joints which is fair enough but the...

These madlads made the Constructicons scramble city with simple transformations, decent paint and detail and at a reasonable price. The scale makes me reluctant to pic these up but I will be looking at this set with interest.
