I figure the worst they can do is stop the big retailers from carrying it. I just found it funny how blatant this is.
didn’t know this was a knockoff though. Didn’t pay attention to Macross merch since they’re generally super expensive and fragile.
Maybe they’ll do an exclusive with some trailer and with the sticker detail painted up. Dunno which trailer would work best given that the Deluxe is even smaller than the G1 toy. The somewhat small Earthrise trailer might actually match it best but the G1 trailer might actually work out decently...
I have one on preorder, but I really wish they went for chrome vs rubber tires. I have no idea how budget works out but I’d take something instantly visible va having to do a touch test.
They’re okay, I have all the retail ones and the Primal scepter ones, but when you’ve bought one, you’ve bought them all.
Sticking logos on combiner feet isn’t all that interesting.
I don't even know where you pulled that assimilated or lost stuff from. My point is that an empty pretender shell is functionally identical to an occupied one.

I know it's based on an Iconic American battleship but the robot mode's not really saying America to me, even with the Statue of Liberty Crown. I dunno, maybe it needs more white or a different blue?
Never mind, that's definitely Murrican
Pretenders didn't even bother with the inner robot most of the time, so I think it's an acceptable compromise to cut out the middleman and have the shells transform into approximations of the inner robot's altmode.
