Yeah, replace the lip on Man-at-Arms’ chest armor with a toy-style windshield and he’d be a perfect Ironhide mash-up. This is neat and all but I’m really more interested to learn if they do transforming robots cosplaying as the MOTU characters.

Hopefully the wings being retooled mean they’re not sculpted out of cheese anymore. Had two Airrazors break on me already.

That’s a great set. I put it as one of the best overall combiners I own to the point I don’t even care that the arms and legs are swapped. Currently waffling on the yellow set myself.

This lineup isn't doing anything for me. Look, I get that there aren't a lot of new robot shows coming out but if you're gonna reuse old franchises, at least use a lot of them. I dunno if I like Godzilla being present just because Jet Jaguar is a robot.

I think Final Wars suffered from cramming as many monsters into Tik-Tok length fight scenes as possible. All that and we didn’t even get a new Mechagodzilla like seriously.

They’re all just the same thing in different reboots/continuities. Death/Des Ghidorah is the only one that is established as a separate entity from that continuity's Ghidorah.

I don’t mind immobile shoulder kibble per se. i just hate how the execution looks with the dumb flaps sticking out when you want to raise the arm forward.

Desghidora was indeed quadrupedal but only had one actor in the suit. I find that most of the redesigns are really good. It’s just that for some baffling reason they drop the ball on the final boss and to a lesser degree, the Big G himself

there are surprisingly few two-headed kaiju despite how relatively simple it’d be to have a dude in the suit play hand puppets for the heads. Pandon looks okay but on the more bird side than sinnertwin’s dog/dragon mix. First fish guy is more narwhal while second guy is more general fish i feel...

Crasher really is old news. Good deco, decent var mode but the transformation feels terrible. The front wheel assemblies are really hard to turn and either pop off or take an uncomfortable amount of force to move. Tolerances are a bit suspect overall, with the halves of the racecar front...

I knew SG Overkill only showed up in a text story where his color wasn’t described. Turns out a drawing of him showed up in a flyer or something which is about the same as this toy but more teal than pine green. Apparently based off a GI joe also named Overkill

I'm glad this set is wrapping up, but man, I’d prefer they stay more consistent with the toy/cartoon influence.The combiner head in particular is kind of a mess, being somewhat puffy and not quite toy or cartoon. I do like how Blot is Orga and Cutthroat is Rodan but I kinda wish the other three...

Star Convoy stuff was about $22 when I paid last night on eBay. Local storefronts are hit or miss on what gets listed and I decided I want it enough to import. The Optimus head/Megatron arm kit was likewise not showing up on local online shopping aside from obvious scam listings.

Orko should be Bumblebee. His ears even look like Bumblebee’s horns. It’ll never happen due to the short-lived nature of these collabs but there needs to be at least concept art of Quintesson Man-E-Faces. Or Blitzwing if you want to go less strictly G1. Thinking about the limited MOTU...
