Transformers: One - New Animated Prequel coming September 20th, 2024 - New Toy Official Images!

Yeah. Sure, SS is giving us Optimus and Megs from the movie, but B-127, Elita, and Sentinel aren't due out until May 2025! The "mainline" for the movie has had some excellent Deluxe-sized figures, but everything else seems easily skip-able. I'm fine with more gimmick-laden "mainline" offerings...

Transformers: One - New Animated Prequel coming September 20th, 2024 - New Toy Official Images!

I'd have been in on that, but I think the fact that neither changes much was an issue. TFOne cog'd up Orion and D-16 don't look that much different from Optimus Prime and Megatron. Sure, there are changes. And the official art from the film emphasizes that. Still, from the perspective of just...

Transformers: One - New Animated Prequel coming September 20th, 2024 - New Toy Official Images!

Giving both SS TFO Optimus and Megs premium paint jobs at the very least and sticking them in a VS pack might make for a cool exclusive. Sadly with the film bombing at the box office Hasbro may decide it's not worth the effort. I'd buy it though.

Post Pictures of your Transformers, Let's see firetrucks fighting with sharks!

Funnily enough these figures were part of what got me into Transformers in the first place. I was only nine in '96, and while the Cyberjets weren't my first Transformers (those would be G2 Optimus and G2 Starscream) the Cyberjets were some of my favourites because they could actually strike a...

I had no idea that the Prime creators countered Alvarez's claims.

Adjusted for inflation which Transformers series was cheapest to produce?

That's still less than the per episode cost of Prime!

Adjusted for inflation which Transformers series was cheapest to produce?

It has to be RiD '01 from Hasbro's perspective, right? A cartoon that was already made on someone else's dime and moulds they just had to import or repaint from previous lines.

Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

That's a perfectly fine starting point for Rodimus, but the key is he has to overcome it and grow, and he never really did.

Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: stock renders of upcoming Alpha Trion, Micronus, Flatline, Fireflight, Skydive, ++

Thing is I had a vague notion of who the Thirteen were when Cybertron started, but when we saw Vector Prime for the first time my thought wasn't "oh he's one of the Thirteen and he's a Prime so they all must be." No, I just assumed he was a previous Matrix barer, some ancient Autobot leader who...
