Same thing can be said for basically their entire menu.

Those are fun. Scrolling down going "yeah, I recognize these," and then this quaint little sculpture appears - love this Grimlock.

Expo Prime 2014 in San Jose, Costa Rica

Yeah . . . my daughters had crazy cool imaginations - they liked to set up an Imaginext train that went down the hall between their bedrooms, and they had their "villages" with lots of different toys in each room. But when I handed them one of those styrofoam blocks, they didn't know what to do...

Expo Prime 2014 in San Jose, Costa Rica

I love stuff like that. I had a piece of styrofoam from something when I was growing up - I have no idea what it came from, but it had all the cool cut-outs for holding something in place in its original packaging. It was the "security station" for the TFs and Gobots on my shelf for years.

    Transformers Legacy toyline

I read that completely wrong the first time. I went straight to "well, they've done green, yellow, and orange, so yeah, red would be cool . . . oh, wait . . . "

Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection - Transformers: Legacy subline at Walmart

When I was looking for Netflix 'Bee, I'd hit up four or five Walmarts in the span of a couple days. It's crazy how different the distribution seemed to be at each store, and really, the stores weren't that far apart.

If I could have a set of the 'Lambros,' those would be the two I'd go after. They just look seriously cool. Looking at the IDW-influenced Blurr, too - part of me wants to pick that one up and start swapping parts around with the Studio Series one I already have, because I like the new head...

Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection - Transformers: Legacy subline at Walmart

So Hot Rod may have been a starting point for Override, or, Rodimus may show up in Crasher's wave. I'm cool with a "maybe" on this one. (Maybe Speedbreaker? Maybe Spectre colors?)

Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection - Transformers: Legacy subline at Walmart

I thought I saw a rumor that Studio Series Hot Rod was going to be released in the Velocitron line - was there something to that or was it just a hopeful daydream?

G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

The Snake Eyes film bombed? I didn't realize that. It was fun - a little generic, I guess, and Scarlett reminded me a lot of Black Widow for some reason, but it was still fun. Of course, I thought the second Thor movie was fun, too . . .

    Legacy Line Wish List

I wish I'd been able to pick up CW Computron. That whole set looks so cool. "Just got them," though? Combiner Wars kicked off in 2014/2015ish, right? That's been a lot longer than some of us old people would like to acknowledge.

Shockwave as a Lego action master? or maybe the RED version? Either way, it looks cool. c/o the Brothers Brick

Yeah, that makes more sense. And Pointblank was a Hot Rod recolor that time around.

    Transformers Legacy toyline

@Mr.Blud, I'm not following you - Peacemaker was a repainted Full-tilt? And @Haywire - Crosshairs is still reasonable on Amazon. I might go with Verity - there's a little bit of a resemblance to her Last Stand of the Wreckers armor.

    Transformers Legacy toyline

I've been hoping for, and then looking forward to Pointblank for a long time. I still have mine from when I was growing up - he's one of two that I bought with my own money. The rest were Christmas and Birthday presents (until I started spending $$ hand-over-fist on TFs in college). I hope that...

Hasbro officially announces the "Selfie Series" toyline

Haywire mentioned doing this with TFs - anyone have the (kinda scary) pic of the Shockwave with a Barbie head that used to make the rounds? (...granted, it's probably been 20+ years since the last time I saw it...)

    LEGO Optimus Prime

Finished mine. Didn't stretch the process out as long as I'd planned, but it was still fun to do a little at a time. I did keep going with the 'build him from the ground up' idea - one of the pics in the collage is from when I had the head, shoulders, knees, and toes, but no arms attached. One...

    Any point in keeping packaging?

It's fun to look back through old packaging and all the inserts - that being said, these can take up a lot of space. I keep card backs and instructions. I've also cut the backs off of most of my recent purchases, even the ones that don't have much in the way of character descriptions, just to...
