Legends Topspin and Peacemaker arrived yesterday. I bought it from Robotoybase in Hong Kong, and opted for shipping w/out packaging, so I opened it up to make sure everything was correct and intact...then closed it back up, because I told my wife I'd wait for Christmas.

Dude, good luck. Teaching is hard. There's so much stacked against you every single damn day. On the flip side, when you have a moment where you go "that kid just figured something out," it feels pretty good - that's true for curriculum-based stuff, but it's also true for just day-to-day...

Hawkeye does look fun - reminds me of "You and I remember Budapest very differently" and some of his scenes in Age of Ultron.

Finished Loki Saturday night - I wanted to completely geek out about it, but while my wife had fun with it, she's never been one to really dig into the mythology on any of these. So we settled for talking about how some of the music would sound amazing in a marching band show.

I won't say that I'm still waiting for a continuation, but I will wag my tail a couple times, sigh heavily, and then go back to sleep under my desk.

Is Blue/Silverstreak available at retail yet? I'm hoping to pick one up, and I have my fingers crossed that there'll be reprolabels available to make a new Alt. Smokescreen.

Cartoon-wise, Animated and Cyberverse are my favorite shows. Good writing, fun characters, there were usually some stakes to what was going on, but it wasn't grim/dark/edgy. I have Bulkhead sitting on my desk - he's pretty much a permanent fixture at this point.

Seeing the big inspirational picture with all those characters, and the OG Enterprise, followed by a quote about the Force has my head spinning just a little bit...

Speaking of "doing something about that," I bought Legends Topspin last night. No idea when the package will arrive, and I made a deal with my wife that I'd open it for Christmas.

I don't see any yellowing on Jazz, but I'm also pretty insistent on keeping the curtains closed in that room. (I need to get the window tinted so that I can have at least some daylight in there.)

Hm. I think it was Brainstorm or Jazz...which means I went the entire summer without spending money on TFs. Maybe it's time to do something about that.

T'challa as Star Lord was a lot of fun - I cracked up over all the little in-jokes. The assassination of the Avengers was a good story, too. Would've been nice to clear up how they arrived at the location in the very last scene, but I liked it overall.
