Yeah, that's the difference between binge-watching it after the fact and trying it out right from the start. I honestly don't know how I would've responded if circumstances had been different.
How long did you have to wait between new episodes?
Not sure if classics figures are worth anything or not, but they're fun. Classics 'Bee is my favorite Bumblebee, and I remember people really liking Mirage from that line, too.
(Or were you just talking about the boxes?)
I've started throwing away packaging. Used to keep tech specs or card backs or something for each character, but the packaging is too generic now.
I miss tech specs - I think the best thing we had, in lieu of those, was the profiles on the Combiner Wars packaging. I think those had notes from...
I've been pretty choosy for the last several years. Not a lot in the way of impulse buys, and I was really focusing on getting versions of characters I liked - if I didn't have a connection to that character from one of the cartoons or the comics, I didn't buy it.
I really like Studio Series...
I was on the same page, or close . . . that version of Ratchet looks cool, but I've never been a big fan of the movie-verse faces. I wonder if there's already a shapeways Ratchet head that would fit on this one.
So may be my rear-view mirror is rose-tinted, but I don't remember a bad season.
I watched through the 1st three seasons after it was over, so I had fun watching the anthology-type world-building episodes early on, and it got even more fun from there.
Haven't watched the new movies yet - hoping...
That's all we had for costumes when I was growing up. Mask and big poncho thing with a picture of the character, not the cosplay-ish costumes that are out now.
Probably had something to do with bundling up in sweatshirts or jackets under the costumes so that kids wouldn't freeze while they were...
I may or may not have just had a religious experience...
I just watched the trailer, and then the opening credits...
It's a beautiful thing.
(I knew the show existed, but I didn't know much beyond that... probably caught a late-night episode or two on Cartoon Network 20ish years ago.)
This...
Looking at the publicity side of things - this is like a glimpse of a teaser for a movie trailer...a couple shots of a couple new toys and we're ready to dissect that little bit of info down to the elbows. I have no idea what the rest of this line will look like, but the curiosity and...
I've got mixed feelings about the alternators. I have a shelf full of them, along with anniversary Optimus. Classics Bumblebee and Cliffjumper are up there, too, because they look pretty good, scale-wise.
I worked hard to build up that collection, and I drove my wife crazy while I tried to...
They should get a shelf to themselves. No one else can get a word in edgewise, not that they can follow the conversation to start with.
(What...don't your toys hang out with Buzz and Woody and entertain each other when you aren't home? That can't just be me....)
Caffeine and free time do weird...
That cosplay was actually pretty cool.
Started the new cartoon a couple nights ago. Very definitely for kids, but still a lot of fun.
Loved the cat button sight gag, and Cringer sounds like a cross between BW Megatron and Liam Neeson.
