I feel the ongoing comic has a serviceable story underneath but has the pace of molasses and has too many fight scenes that ultimately don't add anything to the story. The robo-body horror angle has also grown stale but the author still keeps trying. I'm convinced that people just like it...
another new subconscious mental voice acting casting: Red Hulk now sounds like Senator Armstrong in my head.
also wow this Rulk introduction arc is so bad but I can’t stop reading.
Die cast is nothing but a liability when used for large parts of the construction. Joint and internal parts are fine but even using it to make feet worries me and I know how to paint fairly okay. Can’t imagine how bad it would be for somebody who can’t.
I’m not so willing to have to do work so...
I think it has to do with my comment of how much it is here in the Philippines. Stores have preorders listed for PHP 19,000 which converted is about USD 330. The math doesn't math completely but it's close enough.
That said, sure, part of that markup is probably BBTS wanting to make a buck...
You know what, I take that back. CW Menasor at least has a new super mode chest and crotch. Smolder doesn’t even bother. Bro does this and slaps drones on the ends of his limbs
I knocked some points off Smolder because his torso mode is so bad. It’s the CW Motormaster of the line: stellar robot and vehicle but terrible combiner mode.
Way I see it, the PCC 5-packs were sold at voyager price and had springloaded gimmicks. It probably shouldn’t be too difficult to do the same thing but without springs nowadays since spring gimmicks were largely phased out based on cost, if we extrapolate designer comments on ratchet joints...
For that much I’d at least want each individual beast mode to have limbs proportional to the other pair. Yeah, compromises have to be made for the lack of partsforming and crazy proportions but I dunno, it’s relatively cheaper at $330 here and I still think that’s a bit much for something that...
Star Convoy as Brave Leader/General Daimos. He transforms similarly and even optionally has the car driving into the foot bit. I’d prefer anime colors but toy colors are great too.
I’d do this myself but I have to relearn Gimp again.
The headcrest is an easy enough choice to paint but now I find myself wanting to paint the eyes as well since the lightpiping’s not all that effective. Considering the sticker detail on the waist as well and redoing the yellow on the knees since they have a greenish tinge due to Hasbro not...
I think it'll be closer to the 5-pack Power Core Combiners. Maybe robot modes for the limbs but I'm not expecting anything more than Micromaster levels of transformation.
Takara Tomy put up preorders for AZ Geno Breaker, basically a remake of the old toy including motorized gimmick. No wonder they were spacing out uses of the RMZ Genosaurer mold.
Also, Realize Model Shield Liger kit but I dunno, the Shield Liger is just an all around lamer version of the Blade...
Looks like you people are getting more desk after all. Didn’t expect him to be this big honestly. He handles like one of the old gigantic carrier zords from Power Rangers.
Got my Sky Byte today. Oh, I’m sorry Hasbro, I didn’t realize I ordered a High Grade kit and put my clippers away. It’s trivially easy to stick everything in the right place but leaving the fins on the sprue is weird. He’s good but the part where the arms slide along pins is really not something...
