Energon Universe - ongoing Transformers and G.I. Joe comics from Skybound

Fair enough, although it, at least, isn't trying too hard to fit things that don't go together. It largely stands on it's own. But perhaps I should have included it when I mentioned included the cartoon crossover (besides the UK stuff). It's obviously going to be included in the set, and no one...

Energon Universe - ongoing Transformers and G.I. Joe comics from Skybound

Yeah, I've learned to ignore IDWs stuff. Again, if you like them, fine, but trying to say they "fit" is the kind of forcing of pegs I described earlier. It's not a clean fit at all.

Energon Universe - ongoing Transformers and G.I. Joe comics from Skybound

I'm not really going to argue, but it's kind of forcing a square peg in a round hole... if the square peg is small enough, it WILL fit, but you know it's not really meant to.

Energon Universe - ongoing Transformers and G.I. Joe comics from Skybound

Technically, three issues (the 2 Man of Iron, plus the cartoon adaptation) of the US comic aren't in its own continuity, but they'll almost certainly be included (Man of Iron is already implied to be in Vol.1 by virtue of being in the first 46 issues). But the Movie adaptation might well be left...

Energon Universe - ongoing Transformers and G.I. Joe comics from Skybound

Let's see. 34 remaining issues of the monthly. 12 G2. 4 Universe. 4 Joe/TF. That's 54 right there... As much I like Universe, I imagine that just doing all of the US continuity stuff gets an even 50/50 split....

    I'm not following your math. Headmasters is 4 issues. 44+4= 48, and 46+4 = 50.

A Long Time Ago In a Galaxy Far, Far Away.... - Star Wars General Discussion

This is also why most shows created for streaming services only last for a few seasons, at most. Returning shows don't tend to generate NEW subscriptions. At most, they retain existing ones, and the return on investment tends to decline on returning shows vs. all-new ones.

    HasLab 2025: Liokaiser

My understanding is that Hasbro (and Takara) contract for factory usage, rather than owning the factories outright, but otherwise, yes to everything you said. I was just hoping to stay out of that off-topic conversation, and simply point out that FunPub was routinely more expensive than what we...

Honestly, if we had that, we'd pretty much have a congress capable of using impeachment to actually remove a president.

Agreed. I said what I said because I was afraid that I might be doing so (FunPub is historically a contentious topic), and I wanted to avoid that....

    HasLab 2025: Liokaiser

There's really no question that HasLab is more economical that FunPub's offerings were. FunPub's exclusives were routinely 4 times as expensive as the toys that used the same molds previously had been. There are lots of reasons for this (not all of which are bad. Please, I'm not looking to start...

I just read Trump's version as his typical "they are spending lots of money to attack me!" and of course he doesn't like that, so he tells everyone that it's corrupt to do things like that.

I'm only surprised that Patel, like Hegseth before him, had a harder time getting confirmed than RFK Jr.

I truly didn't expect that Hegseth would have more trouble than RFK Jr. That's really depressing.

I used to use eBay for this kind of thing all the time back in the Fun Pub era (although admittedly more for BotCon sets than for TFSS). It was such a pain, when I've had toys I want to get rid of these days, I just take them to BookOff. I know I'm getting a fair bit less for them than I'd have...

Problem is, I'll either buy a lot of those products whether or not I've seen those commercials, and/or I won't buy the products, even if I had seen the commercials. (I'm not saying commercials don't drive sales. I'm saying it's really hard to tie sales to any specific commerical(s).)

In case a history lesson is in order. This is in regard to last year's HasLab (Omega Prime) The Liokaiser HasLab is now only about 7 or 8 hours old (it started before it's official start time of noon EST), and is already at more than a third of the goal. That's not at all bad.

Apparently there's a Batman figure with "Hellbat armor" or some such. So it's apparently a trademark conflict rather than fears about sensitive language. (FWIW, I think Cockney Hellbat is a FAR better alternative than "Fellbat")

Even with Trump's actions in his first term, being "Republican" tends not to equal "spineless" in the courts. So, yes, it does really matter.
