The Twit destroying Twitter is a Twaitor

If you'd asked that just a few years ago, I'd say there really wasn't any. Nowadays, there are several options. Some of the mainstream brands, and several newer ones. None as firmly established (at least, in the specific electric car market) as Tesla, perhaps, but perfectly ready to rise up and...

Biden was a big fan of Amtrak, so naturally I fear for its future under Trump.

Nobody has the intention to invade Ukraine

Honestly, I see this less as Zelenskyy being duped, and more that he has to keep up appearances, having little other option.

    HasLab 2025: Liokaiser

Very much the difference between getting a dedicated mold and having to "make do" with a repaint/remold.

Let me know when people actually get their jobs back. A judge telling the administration they have to do something is far from the same thing as actually doing that thing.

I would dispute that. Much of the damage being done can't simply be fixed by having a successor reverse the changes. The damage that's being done will take much longer than that to repair, it seems to me.

Only a few weeks ago there were Christians calling empathy a sin... this is just a new version of that heresy.

I think someone once used the meme "Make America the 1950s Again"?

I think there's a real discussion to be had about why so many sports are gender-segregated in the first place. If we simply broke things by non-gender specific physical attributes, we could solve a lot of these problems.

Yes. If those are the two options, it's not even a hard decision.

As I understood it, several Democrats did do exactly that. The GOP simply gave their seats to T fans, so there'd be no empty seats to make T look bad. I might wonder if it simply needed more Democrats to do the same, but imagine that no shortage of T fans were available, and they'd probably...

I don't for a moment imagine Bernie Sanders would have done better in the election. That's crazy talk.

Leaving aside the obvious problem, I thought we conducted such operations against our allies, anyway... we just try not to talk too loudly about it.

Energon Universe - ongoing Transformers and G.I. Joe comics from Skybound

I think you're misunderstanding my intentions. I was simply saying that certain stories were never originally intended to fit into the main US continuity ("Man of Iron," in fact, differs from most other UK material in this regard). I only brought up the "not really trying too hard" bit after...

Put more in the language he'd likely use (only a tiny bit...), I suspect that he thinks that the nation as a whole is sicker because we fail to weed out the "weak" and "imperfect." Thus, by allowing diseases to take their course, the people who are left are stronger (and not just because the...

Worst case scenario, there IS a flu shot, but it looks an awful lot like this past year's flu shot, rather than taking advantage of the knowledge that would have gone into predicting this coming year's strains. It would still offer better protection than 1) nothing, or even 2) just relying on...
