  1. G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

I've got preorders on Pulse for "my essentials": Recondo, Bazooka, and the Viper as well as Duke. I'm confident Hasbro will do me right with these. I have ZERO faith in the Target preorder system
  2. Transformers Legacy toyline

Entertainment Earth had inventory of that two pack several weeks back. By and large, EE has been pretty good about picking up extra inventory from retailer exclusives, so it's probably worth it to keep an eye on them going forward.
  3. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantamania

Oh, hey, there's Kang the Conquer....OMFG IS THAT BILL MURRAY?!
  4. DC Toy Thread

For fans of Spin Master's 4" stuff, Amazon has the Batcave from The Batman not only marked down to $20, but currently has a $5 off coupon ON TOP of that. The design is open enough that it could work with any number of 4" figure lines as well. Assorted other stuff is on sale with coupons...
  5. G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

Amazon has the BAT and Cobra Officer on sale with coupons. Each is marked to about $22, with an additional coupon for $5.50 or so off each. For 3.75" fans, The Batman's Batcave is getting a $5 coupon ON TOP of being marked down to $20.
  6. Pixar’s Starcom toys aka Lightyear toys

Well, Lightyear was thorough disappointment in many areas...including toy sales. THAT MEANS SALES! Amazon has almost the entire Hyperspeed series marked down to some degree, including a lot of later wave items that have little chance of hitting retail. I snagged the XL-14 for 11.99 with a $4...
  7. Hasbro Brand Team Roundtable Notes

And in fairness, only 3 Dinobots ever made it out during G2. I'm probably game for a G2 Grimlock, but at current (and a likely $60 by the time they get to them) price point? I'm just not sure I can justify getting more than ONE G2 repaint, much less three and definitely not FIVE.
  8. Transformers Legacy toyline

Coupon must have expired, dang. But it's still worth keeping an eye out, Galvatron feels like a prime suspect for greater discounts this holiday season (I got Siege Shockwave for about $30 in a similar situation)
  9. Hasbro Brand Team Roundtable Notes

I'm just waiting for them to FINISH the leader set before fussing about redecos
  10. Conspiracy lunatic thread - people who believe in absurd nonsense are dangerous

He was probably as surprised as the rest of us at how successful Trump ended up being as an agent of chaos.
  11. Marvel Toy Thread

Hasbro's apparently on a gaming kick! After the Capcom Iron Man set from a couple weeks ago, they just announced (via Gamerant) an MvC War Machine. For those that don't remember or aren't familiar, War Machine was a modified color swap from Iron Man featuring some new special moves. Sadly...
  12. Mayhems tangled mess of controler cords

Actually, I’ve been coming across Series X units fairly commonly. Not as much as a Series S (which, yeah, you can just walk into any store at this point with a decent chance of getting one), but FAR more so than PS5. Also, kind of tangential, but…. I’m looking at getting a new monitor, but...
  13. The Repaint Concept Thread

And it works ASTONISHINGLY well! But if willing to put some resources in…a new head, change the gun emplacement into a crane hook, maybe replicate the front guard with a pair for the sides (which could then be utilized for his brute mode fists), and it’s REALLY not far off.
  14. Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

At this point, it's started to become noticeable that retail doesn't seem to have much pressing desire to abruptly push out Rise of the Beasts stuff without the movie to support it. At the stores still stocking Cyberverse around me, there doesn't seem to be any shortage of product. Earthspark...
  15. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

Silly billy, Hasbro doesn't make kids toys anymore. It's all about them boomer bucks! (J/K... maybe?)
  16. Gobots and Machine Robo News & Discussion

MMMMMMmmmmmm.... That cheese rock and old school hand drawn mecha animation nourishes my SOUL!
  17. The Super Mario Bros. Movie

You should I don't mind what I'm seeing. The humor is on point (what has been shown, anyway), the voices are solid, so we'll see what additional trailers bring. Sonic set the bar (shockingly) high, so I'm hoping Mario avails himself admirably following in those footsteps.
  18. Power Rangers General Discussion Thread

Walmart has some new exclusives: A series of VHS styled basic rangers. MMPR Red, Black and Yellow. These are NOT Lightning caliber! They are equivalent to the kids line. As is, Red is probably a reuse from the Amazon set from a couple years ago.
  19. Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection - Transformers: Legacy subline at Walmart

I had to put in my order for Galaxy and the Retro Crimson Guard through Walmart, and I'm hoping for the best. About the only other thing I'm wanting is the Hot Rod. I never had Hot Rod as a kid, and the first two I got were the Energon and Classics versions, so this scratches that angle on me.
  20. Transformers Retro series (Walmart TFTM Reissues)

As I recall, Starscream was around $30 the last time he was available, so I view it a net positive with the integrated paint apps. Hot Rod was cheaper last time around, but we ARE dealing with people charging the same price for reissue Beast Wars basics and deluxe...so I kind of get that...
