A new episode of Transformers: Cyberworld has debuted on the Transformers Official channel on YouTube! It's Round 2 for Optimus Prime and Grimlock, but this time, Optimus has backup in the form of Bumblebee. Unfortunately for them, Grimlock has also brought along a more diminutive friend in the Dinobot, Snarl! It's two on two for the glory of getting a level-up from the newest drop as the fate of the Cyberworld... uh, has probably yet to be determined. But hey, protoform steps! Give the ep a gander here. SDCC 2025 is in full swing, and Hasbro has absolutely come out swinging with strong product presentations for their various iconic brands. Transformers is definitely no exception, as so many corners of the brand are getting a lot of love in the next few months and the next year. Studio Series, Transformers Collaborative, Studio Series 86, and an all-new iteration of the Hasbro-Mattel dual-anniversary bromance collaborations are all getting fascinating and fun new stuff! Gamespot.com have revealed a slew of upcoming Hasbro exclusives that will be available "exclusively on-site at the Hasbro booth at select conventions, including the New York Comic Con and MCM London" as well as on HasbroPulse.com. And one of them is a $75 exclusive pack featuring a cab-only retool of Legacy Evolution's Commander class Armada Optimus Prime into Nemesis Prime... wielding the Star Saber superweapon itself, comprised of three converting Air Defense Mini-Cons! Still wielding his rifle and arm blasters (as well as the Matrix? Doomstone?), Nemesis Prime features an uncannily distorted new visage. He's also joined, somehow, by Air Defense-colors Runway, Jetstorm, and Sonar in this exclusive pack, all the better to feud with Hot Shot over whether these Mini-Cons stay on the side of good or turn to the dark side. Without any need for light-piping to accommodate a light-up gimmick, the Mini-Cons have no clear plastic and should be a mite less fragile than their predecessors. Walmart has officially listed Transformers Retro Brawn on their website, which means we can now get a better look at the G1 toy-styled version of the classic macho minibot. This SS86 Brawn retool gives him his classic toy-based bullet head and a dashing shade of forest green more evocative of the original toy. The runup to Walmart's upcoming Collector Con may be heating up, as right after the reveal of a Transformers Retro Seaspray listing, a possible first glimpse at a toy-based Brawn from the same exclusive line has surfaced. And that's definitely a toy-based head and cooler, forest-y green, all right... Shame they didn't get around to retooling the hands into the toy claws, but the rest looks like a neat callback. No site listing or other pictures yet, but we're waiting on those like you are! How many Transformers Retro remakes are on your want list? YVAN EHT NIOJ We now know what the long-listed Transformers Retro version of Seaspray will look like. As Walmart continues its exclusive line of G1 homages, it's joined by one more upsized Minibot, as listed on their website. An all-new mold unlike the Minibot retools/redecos that have preceded it, this Deluxe class figure will be available as part of Walmart's Collector Con event, which kicks off July 24. Armed with a blaster, this iteration of Seaspray has a deco that calls back to the G1 toy more (as befits the line) with an all-yellow head and dark visor. Nevertheless, Aquaman over here the seafaring Autobot has a sculpt that evokes the animation model's portly design. It's entirely possible that a more cartoon-based redeco may come later, but this being an exclusive is a fair caveat to consider. Whom are you hoping for from the Transformers Retro line? Apparently the ol' Earthspark still glows, because two more upcoming Deluxe class figures have been spotted, so to speak. Listings on Shop.Hasbro.com give us a good look at Cosmos and Spitfire! This new Chaos Terran Spitfire follows on from the one-step figure and the Warrior class figure, but this is Cosmos' first time in the Earthspark toyline. Takara Tomy has released Wild King Epsiode 8: "Depths of Despair." While no fansub is available yet, watching the episode shows Optimus, having been pushed off a cliff in Episode 7, have a vision where he meets Nemesis Prime (who was previously revealed as an upcoming toy). After a confrontation, something unexpected happens when Nemesis is revealed to be: The commercial at the end of the episode showcases the new Frost Saber and Lavamuleta figures. The series is slated to run for 36 episodes of 5 minutes each, so this first upload is a 10-minute, back-to-back pair of episodes that launch us straight into the mysterious new cyber-landscape alongside our favorite bots and cons! Various outlets have reported the passing of former Hasbro CEO Alan G. Hassenfeld in London, England, on July 8, 2025. He was 76. His passing was confirmed by former Hasbro executive Alfred Verrecchia, who provided no additional details. After joining the company in 1970 and moving up the ranks, including becoming executive vice president in 1980, Alan took over running Hasbro from his brother Stephen Hassenfeld in 1989 until stepping down as CEO in 2003. He retired from chairmanship in 2005 and took on the role of chairman emeritus, which he relinquished in 2024. Since his retirement, he lived a life of philanthropy, establishing the nonprofit Hassenfeld Family Initiative LLC in 2008, "a philanthropy with the goals of globalizing safety and human rights within the area of children's products, empower women in developing countries." His work as chairman of the Hassenfeld Family Initiative included establishing the Ethical Supply Chain Program to support the focus on safety and human rights in producing children's products. In 2022, Alan and the Hassenfeld Family Foundation partnered with The Toy Foundation to spearhead an industry-wide relief effort to support families impacted by the war in Ukraine. Alan pledged $1m to the effort, saying, "Everything we do as an industry is about children. It’s our responsibility to do everything in our power to try and bring a smile to the faces of these children as they endure this incredible darkness. As we watch these events unfold, how can any of us not want to help in every possible way?" Alan also founded the Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, RI, and his family contributed to the Hassenfeld Child Health Innovation Institute at Brown University in 2015.
