No, that link appears to be the same old version everyone has had since last spring, just in a different box compared to the open package version standard retail appears to have gotten.
This is the link for the “Ultimate Set” which has all three core figures and the Batmobile…plus paint...
I view it as a combination of issues from Imperial ego/neglect to the fact that, as a forced labor factory, Imperial commanders have an incentive to NOT let people leave. We've seen it throughout the prison stay of Andor that Empire officers and troopers had practically ZERO interaction with...
But that $40 Batmobile isn’t being made to “collector standards”. Y’know, with toy features and design compromises for play. And we all know how collectors hate that dreaded “C” word…
Snark aside…I’m actually fascinated at how Amazon appears to have a closed box version of the Batmobile. All...
RE Village has been released on Mac. It, along with No Man's Sky, were heavily pushed by Apple as their initiative for improved Mac gaming thanks to the M-Series chipsets.
Responses are in, as are technical performance. Digital Foundry hasn't done a video yet, but I think it will be...
I’d make a fuss. As is, I got a TVC Dark Time Darth Vader a few weeks back that looked like FedEx had tried to break the box in half. Good thing I’m not a MOC guy, because the bend was so bad, it had popped the figure off the cardback.
Technically, Target has STILL not released or had any details on the first wave of Tiger Force/Python Patrol. Everybody that has them ordered them from international sellers/retailers.
Markiplier in Space got nominated for an Emmy!
I hope he wins. He puts his heart and soul into projects like this and it was WAY better than I expected it to be.
Despite reports that GI Joe Classified is going Pulse-exclusive in the European markets, Hasbro did throw a few reveals at MCM London:
A render preview for Big Ben, indicating he’s likely coming sooner, rather than later.
Cobra Female Trooper/Officer 2 pack. Surprisingly colorful, they also...
I kind of get the feeling there might have been some pushback at some level of management towards doing the relatively niche characters at such premium price points. Especially as Hasbro seems to be pulling back on the number of Leaders they do in a given year To begin with.
Victory Saber...
Actually, the Beholder does NOT sport the movie title. And the descriptions note these are both from the film and lore, so I suspect we’ll see some more dragons, just to reuse the tooling.
I DO dig them. Been a while since we got a nice “Not Transformers converting” toy from Hasbro. I also...
I enjoyed them, but the Dooku ones were especially strong. While the final Inquisitor ended being a non-thing...he still had a damned amazing design that seems wasted in this context.
I would LOVE to see Filoni and his crew tackled the sequel trilogy with later "Tales of the Jedi". His work...
I haven't seen a Walgreens exclusive in bulk since Ratchet. I saw a, literal, COUPLE of Bluestreaks after I ordered mine. Red Alert never appeared at all.
Seems whoever the toy guy was when Walgreens snagged all those exclusives got ousted during the pandemic, and the new people don't care...
I'm a little surprised at a new Haslab before Victory Saber has even shipped, but it's a nice offering. And a reasonably "fair price" relative to the stuff even at base support.
I AM a little disappointed they didn't drop a Rise of the Beasts teaser or something during this.
So, Hasbro's doing an "exclusive" Pulse presentation at 5pm EST. I will NOT be posting a link :p
But for all us Pulse Premium members, a thread to discuss...at least until we see what they have in store?
More Legacy reveals?
Studio Series?
Maybe a preview of the Rise of the Beasts film and...
Keep the order for Serpentor. If nothing else, I suspect his resale value in the next couple years will be better so you'd at least be able to make back the money and then some. Or you'd have it when you fancy having a fancy Serpentor and the secondary market is 2-3x the price :p
