Back when I worked at Target, we once sold out of those pillows and had the cage empty for a week or so. Then they sent us a full trailer of nothing BUT those damn pillows. We had to rent a storage trailer just to have a place to put them. It took us months to sell them down to a reasonable amount.

I'm fine with him keeping the forearm shields, just make them peg into place rather than relying on joint friction. One of mine's has loosened up a bit over the years.
