A bit of treat for Armored Core fans this month:
The first 3 Armored Core titles on PS1 will be added to the classics catalog next week, while tomorrow's final drop for Astrobot (for now...) is called "Armored Hardcore". So it's safe to say the level will have some nods to the classic mech...
That’s probably my biggest “plus” to seeing Nacelle reissued: whatever mold/growth/reaction that afflicted the original will hopefully be resolved.
I don’t have any need for either, but I will never knock Hasbro for doing these sorts of reruns.
I think I posted before that I don’t use Nova...
This is what JTPrime posted last year in terms of the Walmart capsule. He indicated that there were still a couple of MIA deluxe figures (my guess is a Cybertron Red Alert and Hardtop reworked from Beachcomber/Ruckus)
Stock pics for Sideways and Excellion got posted by Walmart, probably part of the Collector Con thing coming in a couple weeks. Leaked listings indicate the "Cybertron capsule" as being fairly significant, so we might be seeing multiple waves...

Includes a Youtube link where TMReviews talked with Ababyss in terms of distribution and plans with the line
Given the amount of teeth gnashing over SM33 and Mando Gideon in the 4" Star Wars Epic line (the kids stuff) being made before Black Series or Vintage, I REALLY hope Hasbro pulls that with a Cyberworld Riptide
Bandai has deemed fit to grace Tubi TV with another of its failed Gundam series: AGE!
Entire AGE series is streaming subbed for us all to enjoy and probably say "it's not THAT bad".
Modernized recreations. Think almost like Missing Link. Characters will be the same size, but with added articulation and deco. The Vehicles will be…probably as close as they can without treading on license issues. But will feature modern “pluses” like foot pegs, modified sculpting (the...
Stumbled across this among the assorted Toy Fair coverage, but online retailer/Distributor Agabyss had a booth at Toy Fair. In addition to coverage for Blokees and a platform for BOSS Fight Studio, they revealed that they were working on bringing over Korean transforming robot series Metal...
A few more thoughts (don’t worry, I’m about done and need to move on to the OTHER toy brands that showed stuff :p ):
Solitary Grimlock: This broadly extends to Star Wars as well, and I understand Hasbro doesn’t really push THAT much above $30 for its kids lines to begin with, but…I wish there...
Further, posters from around the web more familiar with the comics have noted substantial design similarities with IDW character Riptide
As I’ve come to grips with the line (largely because it didn’t fit the concept I had created in my head)…I can’t find myself to hate it THAT much. Again, so...
Toy Fair update on some toys:
Superman 25 was MIA. Probably going to be a BIG stand alone reveal in the coming weeks (or WB is trying to “keep things secret” like Disney’s bull).
Spin Master’s final big push on Batman will be a mix of DC Metal Force and Batman Ninja Strike, inspired by the...
Digging through the information across multiple sites, this is a rough “yearly plan” for the Cyberworld line. I do NOT expect any additional, mass retail, items to be revealed or released before the spring season. This feels very much in the same “mold” as how Hasbro is handling their Epic...
Scout-ish? Somewhere around 4” according to press material for the primary Cyber Changer figures. Grimlock runs about 9 inches, while Scorponok towers even taller.
Given the standardized nature of the figures, I’d suspect the mandibles don’t do anything. But he WILL come with that oversized...
