  1. What stupid thing did the GOP say or do this time? Episode 3!

I’ve seen a Tesla and Cybertruck buzzing around here in southwest Oklahoma, but I suspect it’s some knob(s) from the military base(s) driving those since, like Rhinox, Oklahoma probably has even LESS e car infrastructure. Truks and burnin’ dead dinos, baby!
  2. G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

The bird man is on sale at both Target and Amazon. Amazon has Raptor for $17.99, which is pretty close to Target's sale price this week. https://www.amazon.com/G-I-Joe-GIJ-FRANKENSTONE-DLX/dp/B0CS48QSKT/ref=zg_bs_g_165993011_d_sccl_28/140-2093643-1757017?psc=1
  3. Animated movies [The Day the Earth Blew Up]

Warner isn't even distributing it, it's Ketchup Entertainment. My HOPE is that the home video revenues will make up for the lackluster theatrical run. It's basically getting dumped on Wednesday because everybody wants as many screens for the religious Easter stuff. Reportedly, Ketchup is in...

  6. Blokees

So, I guess Walmart is going to be actively carrying these going forward? Spotted a couple cases at Walmart, seemingly with a regular spot on the shelf. Right now, Walmart is getting Galaxy Wave 5 (TF One). Picked one up, it was Bumblebee.
  7. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

Amazon Spring Deals are starting up, a couple I found today: Origins Point Dread for $9 Origins Skeletor Collector Ship for $22 WITH an additional 15% off coupon Masterverse Leech $19.07 with 15% off coupon
  8. New "Wildocking" Animal Limb Combiners from TakaraTomy

I think these are rather nifty. My first, full, impression is that this feels like a ”Transformers by way of Super Sentai” vibe that doesn’t look terrible. If anything, nothing I’m seeing overtly negates Hasbro’s ability to import these as part of Cyberworld (CyberCombiners?), besides maybe...
  9. G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

Hasbro's delayed GI Joe livestream has posted, and lord are they vibin' those Cold Slither feels!
  10. Traitor Watch - The 45 & 47 Thread

Pretty much. The F-35 is the latest attempt by DoD office chairs to "standardize" their primary fighter platform across all branches (like the F-4 Phantom), but is years and billions of dollars overrun. I mean, if anyone in government was actually serious about addressing waste in spending...
  11. Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: 2026 Computer Listings - Big Convoy, Quickstrike, Armada Sideways, and more.

Which I think is part of the reason we've seen so little on the "revisit" front. There's just too many gimmicks that would impact Hasbro's ability to retool and resell the molds. Double so for the Autobots, whose combining is, I don't feel, feasible with the current line and budget structures...
  12. Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: 2026 Computer Listings - Big Convoy, Quickstrike, Armada Sideways, and more.

If you are an old school 12” GI joe collector..that statement might be more spot on than you’d think!
  13. Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: 2026 Computer Listings - Big Convoy, Quickstrike, Armada Sideways, and more.

These are the collector oriented Generations line, dang it! There is to be no fun, here! What do you think these are, toys?
  14. Transformers: Age of the Primes toyline discussion || update: 2026 Computer Listings - Big Convoy, Quickstrike, Armada Sideways, and more.

To be fair, it was pretty well established last year that Age of the Primes would see a “spring release”. These are showing up on time to where they are supposed to (surprisingly). Most release dates from retailers placed the line between March and April, so, again, about on time. And I know...
  15. He-Man, and also the Masters of the Universe

That multipack is impressive on multiple levels. In addition to the obvious troop builder aspect, all of those (except the Pit Warden) feel like “shadow variants” to other characters. The Paragon Champion almost screens a take on the “Man O’War” from Revolution. The Horde Revenant clearly...
  16. Marvel Toy Thread

It, too, has a bumpin’ intro:
  17. G.I. Joe thread - 09/13/2024: Pulsecon - Dreadnoks, Dogs and Cereal

I agree. It goes to show that, with the right approach, NO GI Joe character is really irredeemable. Some images from Toy Fair (for those that don’t want to watch a video or haven’t looked anything up). Nothing overtly “new”, but a LOT of on hand images of new figures. The increased presence...
  18. Marvel Toy Thread

The season itself is pretty solid too. Built on some continuity from the first (which was almost an “Avengers lite” with the Force Works focus), but the majority of the season was firmly an “Iron Man” show with Force Works being more guest stars. I still disappointed that the MVC War Machine...
  19. Transformers Legacy toyline

From what I see of the old design, the intent seemed to be a deluxe-ish Optimus Prime that fit into the chest (Looks a bit too big to fit a core-ish sized figure like Hot Rod). I haven't seen enough of the design to extrapolate where the "front cab" goes in robot mode. I kind of wonder if the...
