It stinks. There are a lot of folks on another Transformers site expressing their displeasure with the whole thing, too. What else can you do though, except to eBay it or hunt for it in stores, if you really want it?

I think that this Starscream is cool and all, but I seriously doubt that it's the last time we'll see the mold. I'm sure they'll at least trot out another Coronation set or something...

It sounds like it's not just Transformers. The going theory is that Target has somehow broken their inventory system.

They have done this before with their exclusives. I have seen the exact same pattern with Movies and video games.

Nautica is a yes. Shredhead is a yes. IDW versions of Drift and Fort Max? A Marvel version of Soundwave? Maybes, need more info. And the Skybound figures have me curious.

I somehow missed that an 07 Jazz was in the pipeline. I will be interested in seeing how that looks.

Really interested to see what that Commander Rodimus looks like. I'm expecting him to at least use some of the current version's tooling, and will be pleasantly surprised if it is all-new. But yeah, the IDW stuff seems interesting, as does the Marvel-deco Soundwave.

I'm in for shredhead. There's a couple of figures I want to see before I commit, but I'm not overtly invested.

Rewrote this post about 10 times trying to get the words just right. Bottom line, we’re fully aware of your frustrations about the #starscream #prowl #insecticons rollout and we’re actively working to fix it. I get you all have a lot of questions that we just can’t answer at the moment but this is a top priority for our team right now. The goal was and still is to get this figure (and all our figures) into everyone’s collection who wants it. We’re still working to make that happen.
