Maybe they bumped it from Deluxe to Voyager just to have enough budget for that paint job.

I'm loving that duller, metallic blue-grey colour for the windshield. It just looks so natural.
It reminds me of maybe the windows on Powerlinx Hot Shot. A nice look for sure!
Probably. Dude’s design is pretty much Skids with a partsforming shield/spoiler thing on the roof.
I'm a huge fan of Skybound's run so this was always going to be a must get, but holy hell the paint on this thing is beautiful.

I definitely prefer clear windows when possible, but if they have to be painted, this is so much better than the Allspark Blue that they usually use.

There's a hilarious out of story reason for this
They needed a reason for Laserbeak to identify the van as being associated with the Autobots.
People online are getting Cyclonus and it looks like the legs are indeed all-new. Instead of the collapsing thighs, they now do the Combiner Wars limb-bot style of opening shins that fold over the thighs. The new parts lack the cover bits with the thrusters though, and the backend now features his feet kind of haphazardly sticking out. The new face is better, but still somewhat off. I think his face is a bit too wide, but that may just me being colored by later depictions of Cyclonus as gaunt when he's not outright skeletal. Base color looks similar to the RTS redeco

Yeah, I still can't convince myself that this release is appreciably "better" than what came before, so it'll be a hard pass for me. The new face is different, to be sure, but I never had a big problem with the original, so...
The new one looks crude and amateurish - as if it was someone's first time either seeing or designing a face. Adding to that, I:a). already own multiple iterations of Cyclonus.
b). bought the Ferak release.
c). have no desire to rebuy - at a higher price - the same figure with an uglier alt mode and questionable face design.
I can appreciate that they are trying something a little different, and also getting Cyclonus back out there, but this one clearly ain't aimed at me.
Honestly, I wouldn’t have bothered buying one if my Kingdom Cyclonus wasn’t yellowed to jive.
The in hand pictures of it make the purple look much bluer than before, closer to my preferred shade for show Cyclonus. That, the retooled face (could be better, still an improvement), and the hopefully corrected plastic supply avoiding the terrible yellowing, are all working in its favor. The Selects one is still the best all around package despite the face, but I sold the Kingdom one and I'm getting this.
I don't have any, but with how often they keep going back and tweaking it, I feel like I can safely wait to see the next one.
Target delayed my delivery of 'Screamer and Prowl another week to 8/11, and required me to "approve" the delay or risk the order being canceled. Starting to worry now...
My Target finally did their reset. Not only no Starscream or Insecticons, but no shelf labels for them at all. Either they're gonna be on an endcap that isn't set up yet because they're choked with clearance, or the store is just skipping it entirely.
I've seen the Insecticons at a few Targets. I've only seen Starscream once. Still no sign of Prowl. Seems like they're staggered for whatever reason.
I wouldn't say no to an Earth Prowl but the sky blue and white sheriff badges that sit at a weird position and the lack of Police livery on the rest of the car kind of put me off. It's a lateral move from my WFC Prowl whose roof and tires I painted to be close enough to Earth mode.
