I would be much more interested in a Leader Class Studio Series Legacy-type Scorn done up in a "just offscreen the whole time" G1 style

I would love a weird type of subline like this. Non-Sunbow characters or G1 characters introduced much later, done up in the show's style. Non-Bayverse characters done up in live-action movie style.

Wait a minute, this is just how they used to do the latter redeco waves of older toylines. Oh well. I'd still love that.

That's what Legacy Bulkhead should have been. G1 does not have to mean boxy. Floro Dery was not afraid to make robots very round.

That's a vaguely movie-influenced version of G1 Bumblebee. Not entirely unlike what I'm looking for but not really the same thing.

AotP Smokescreen is a pretty good base mould for something like that.

But also... between Cyberverse, Earthspark, and T30, there have been attempts to merge movie Bumblebee and G1 Bumblebee.

Personally? I'd like to see one that attempts a G1-esque take on the Bayverse battlemask.

No word on if it's going to be the Earthrise mold or the new SS '86 mold. IIRC, Dreamwave Sunstorm is supposed to be in the mainline, so maybe that's '86 an these are the last vestiges of the ER mold? Who knows.

I don't know how it happened, but one of these Sunstorms has GOT to be the Earthrise mold. If it's the single release, I can save so much money.

If the 4-pack is the Siege mold again (effectively reissuing the Rainmakers but with Sunstorm) and the single is SS86, I'll be SO annoyed.
