Surviving another day of 2025 made me happy, just one more shift of work before the end of 2025 and the beginnings of 2026
I love my neighbors.
Saying goodbye to 25 and hello 26 and the arrival of my birthday, not that I got a clue what age I am, I lost track ages ago and care not to find out or I'll likely feel even older, so from 26 to whoever left in 25:

I spent 6 bucks on two liters of the best chocolate milk in the world.
Alright, longer one, so here we go.
Years ago, I even had a thread here about it: I standardized the shelving in my room. Well, I had to change the layout of my room since I put the shelves up: internet reasons mostly. But I didn't change the shelves. The important bit was: I put up two flat shelves over my bed in a L shape. Recently, I took half the L off the wall because the shelf was just empty, and I kept hitting it when I changed the bed linens.
But the wall was missing texture, so I found some of those squares to put up. Much lower profile, and on massive sale, 5 bucks a box. But walmart would only let me buy four of them.
20 bucks ain't much... so... done. I can figure out other places to use the rest. Maybe pawn a box or two off on my brother for a profit.
Well, took two hours, but... at least there's nothing to pawn off elsewhere. Not happy with the pictures on the top left... probably going to move them again... but otherwise quite happy with how it turned out. There's nice texture on the wall, it'll pop more once the room is painted (lighter colour.) and a lot of little odds and bods can be move into it, and there's still more space for blokees.

Having gotten through another day of work with just two more shifts to go before a day off, its been a LONG week, considering that my last day off was a week ago yesterday (Monday) as things been kind of busy in work of late with stuff shifting around the place
I bought an ammo box to better store my snacks. It was on sale too! Half off.
Finally reached the end of my working week, so I can relax a bit tomorow and get my hair cut, plus deliver some stuff on my dad's behalf around my street, but then its back to work on Saturday, having the day off does help one relax a bit as its a break from the unusal mundate tasks of work!

You really gotta appreciate our ancestors who discovered that eating could be even more enjoyable.
So this weekend I was playing Minecraft with my kids. My five year old joins back in and is deep within the dangerous part of the mine by herself, so I offer to get her out of there, and she hands me her controller. I take the long stairs up and the dog that was following her stays down to fight a giant slime. This upsets her as she thinks I just lost her dog. However, when we pop up out of the mine, the dog spawns right behind us. She says in her cutest 5 year old voice, "I forgot that they have telobropation."
