I really hope they are just going after a really hard bounty and not saving the universe.

Word has it that it's basically Din being hired to protect a target that a rival bounty hunter is contracted to kill, so that, to me, would be a nice "stakes are high for the protagonist but very low for the world at-large" sort of plot. I miss when more genre movies were like that.
